14:00-17:22 Tölzer boy Daniel Krähmer in a fantastic interpretation of a lovely Händel part. Can it be done more beautiful by anyone singer - anywhere - any time ?!
@johnhenry35182 жыл бұрын
If you are listening to this lovely interpretation, wondering if there is a Jesus- He is real. He's complete, tender love and He wants to know you. Look for Him and you'll easily find Him.

Tölzer boy solisten: Daniel Krähmer (S) and Johannes Möhrle (A).

It's important to note that Johannes seems to be singing the tenor part AS WRITTEN, in place of Herr Fliegner! Of course, Daniel is singing the tenor part up an octave in the duet. To make things more confusing, Handel wrote 5 different versions between 1713 and 1738. This performance seems to be mainly based on the last version, which adds the fugato to the opening symphony, and the Allelujah chorus at the end, and the solo mens chorus, but Wikipedia doesn't say how the other solos were rejuggled -- something that Handel regularly did.

More of Daniel Adler and Andi Morwald is always a treat! Great also to see Markus Althanns. He always looks so bright and excited while performing, like he's just putting his all into it.

Love Handel's Anthems, but this is a treasure of a find. Have read where the youngsters have learned a part at very short notice, a real credit to them personally to give such a quality performance, and a credit to their tutors. A brilliant performance.

Amazing!!!! I used to sing this song in a choir when I was a child. This vedio recalls me that moment. Thanks. They did good job beautiful voices and the harmony are impressive even it is not their language I can clearly hear their accurate pronunciation of the lyrics as well.

I whished music was taken so seriously en general, look at the kids around the soloists, utter concentration, great performance, conforts the heart, taking in account the misery in the region, it's a sprookje indeed
