Sadly, I stopped playing this game a little while ago, so I probably will not be making a guide on how to intercept, but I will give you some pointers. 1. have a plan: if you don't have a plan to escape, you could be caught off guard by a tornado which will most likely get you killed 2. watch the radar: the radar is your greatest ally, keep your eye on it as it can give you the upper hand on the tornado. seeing that you have watched this video, you will have no problem reading the radar (even with the 1.21 update) 3. use real-life objects: when a tornado is heading towards you, it can be hard to tell where its exact path is. what I like to do is put my hand vertically on my screen with the tornado in the centre. if the tornado is moving away from your hand, then you're not in its path, and you need to move forward or backward depending on its movement. if it is not moving and is getting bigger, then you're in its path. 4. if winds get too high, get into an interceptor: a regular car gets picked up at 90mph, so if the wind speed is getting too fast ( around 50 to 70 mph), ditch your car and get into an interceptor of another player. if the wind are getting too high but there are no interceptors nearby, put on your parking brake. the parking brake makes it harder for your car to slide, meaning it could potentially save you from being picked up. 5. be ready for anything: tornados are unpredictable, so you need to be prepared to change your plans on a dime. 6. have fun: if you don't have fun, then you are going to have a much harder time making decisions that could save you or allow you to intercept. I recommend a video by @SHEARRBLX called How to Storm Chase, it is a 1.20 guide but is still very useful even to this day. I hope these pointers help, and happy chasing :D

@PrehistoricApex, you probably shouldn't have purchased the starter pack, as getting money is extremely easy in this game. All you have to do is drive around, and you don't even have to chase tornados. really, the only pass worth paying for is the 2x money and the donations (so we can get more updates for the game). inf fuel isn't worth it either, as you lose fuel so slowly that you should be able to make it to a gas station, and the price for fuel is outweighed by the amount of money you get from driving. I gonna be making a pass tier list soon, so if u want to see what passes to buy, be sure to watch that. Happy chasing :D

@FinnishBallGaming i already have the 2x money pass and i had 150rbx laying around so i bougth it since it has a mesonat and hail cage.

Yeah, I also bought currency, and the reason I bought currency turned out to be useless as I also bought it for the vortex prob truck expecting I could buy all 4 of the probs (this was back in 1.20) but I couldn't put the Dorothy prob in the truck, so I wasted the money I bought

dam, I got this tornado as I was starting out, I didn't even have a mesonet on my car beforehand. it also was at night so I could barely see the tornado, I nearly got picked up by it as I was leaving my probe

Very nice, this one I probed was at nighttime and at the time I didn't have a mesonet so I never knew the windspeeds, I nearly got picked up as I was driving away from the probe.

glad you liked it, sadly I haven't played the game in a very long time so I'm not very familiar with the game pass costs, I would say getting the 2x money is really the only one worth buying but if you want to do cinematic the drone isn't bad as well. Also definitely don't buy the money, all you need to do is drive around. Happy chasing :)
