With 2 usl teams opening up in florida and the rowdies existing perhaps a move to a different state would be better. Folding teams aren't always a bad thing because it opens up potential for another more successful team to take the place making the usl stronger.

Makes me sad as someone who lived in that area of Miami i went to one game and yes the attendance was concerning i gave them a pass due to covid that time the team really doesn't market itself. I moved to San Antonio and SAFC is big here they win a championship. Miami fc will probably move after that staduim miami freedom park opens

I've been to Miami FC games before Inter came to town, and they weren't exactly pulling then. But I only went because they were the only game in town (I haven't exactly been to InterMiami games though) But Miami definitely doesn't have space for two games in town. Ricardo Silva paved the road for new profession soccer in South Florida. But when the new Inter stadium gets built in Miami, they sadly will not be able to compete. As another poser here said, perhaps Palm Beach or Boca is an option? Maybe when Inter moves down from Lauderdale, MiamiFC can fill a void that Inter built out of Palm Beach

USL Teams rarely can co Exist in a City with an MLS Team, San Diego and soon to be Indianapolis are examples.

Miami FC should move to Fort Lauerdale and be the brother clob to the New USLS team in Lauderdale

I read that Silva is going to move the Miami FC to West Palm Beach. Silva is one of the wealthiest owners in the USL so I don't think he will seek to go to a lower level league. Can't forget Silva is part owner of AC Milan and has a been very successful with his other soccer teams.

This young team needs a "USL" coach. Someone who knows the league and the players. No knock on the current coach, you can see his imprint on the team, but as a first year coach, this team is not the right fit. I noticed the huge drop off in attendance when they stopped accepting cash to buy tickets. Respectfully, many of those "walk up" customers where the hard working people who may not be legally in the country. Hence no credit card, or a reluctance to provide a cell phone number or sign up on an App. It was nice to see these folks be able to afford bringing their family and friends out to the games.

From the area and I’m very excited about it

I support Union Omaha and could not be more excited. As a purist, yes I would prefer that the stadium be both larger and a cathedral dedicated exclusively to the Beautiful Game. However, we must recognize that modern economics demand alternate sources of income. Even the Dallas Cowboys use JerryWorld for concerts, rodeos, and other events. Here's the thing about Omaha - when we do something, we do it properly. There are several sports and entertainment venues in the city, and they are all spectacular and perfectly suited for their designated purpose. The North Downtown area (NoDo, to locals) is booming. The stadium, along with retail, restaurants, bars and moderate to upscale apartments and condos, will be a great addition. Union Omaha have their eyes on the USL Championship. Frankly, we're too big as a city and club for USL One. We have been the most consistently dominant side in the league from day one and are now at the top of the table again with two matches in hand. This is nothing but good for Omaha and for the game

MLS without a promotion and relegation is a piece of trash that no one recognizes

Warner Discovery owns the TV rights but they have zero idea what to do with it. Last year they sold the rights to CBS because Messi was playing but they declined this year. Apple perspective (I think): It's dirt cheap. I can test it out. I can employ MLS to do the production. And lastly MLS will always listen to Apple. If this is successful and Apple renews, I can see MLS sending all their non CCC clubs to play in the USOC with the right scheduling changes.

Oh and USL just realized the fall portion of the schedule for the Super League (I wish they came up with a different name for their women’s pro league). The Spring portion won’t come out until the winter break

And true that AppleTV+ is low on the totem pole of streams. And a lot of that is cause you mainly need an Apple product to get it without problems. If you have an android you could watch it on desktop I think but it lags from what people say. Plus all it has is original programs. Not alot of deals to show movies from the major studios like how Netflix & Prime Vidoe (Hulu use to buy now is under Disney and mainly has originals and are honoring contracts they made with the other major studios). And Apple just started showing movies from other studios. I watched Good Burger, Inception, Transformers, Wyatt Earp, and Zombieland on there but it’s only for short term (like a month or 2 to watch it on Apple). I know is trying to get more into the entertainment business. They have MLB games but that’s for free and not like how MLS is and there’s talk they might try to land contracts with top European leagues like Ligue 1 and if their contract with NBC ends the Premier League which is what World Soccer Talk alluded to in their video on what Apple can do to attract subscribers

World Soccer Talk has a video talking about the MLS Season Pass situation. And from how it sounds it seems Season Pass doesn’t have a lot of subscribers even sit Messi in the league. Check it out if you haven’t yet. It’s an hour long

Smart move ESPN

Yes I will watch soccer no matter the level of play. It will be interesting how BKFC men will be put together in the months leading up to their March 2025 startup. Playing at the Coney Island ballpark will be a start; will there be a long term plan for BKFC to have its own stadium (8k-10k would be ok) or will the ballpark be just right for them (see when the Cosmos of the D2 NASL played their last season, 2017, in that ballpark. I went to that last home match in Oct. '17, a win vs Puerto Rico.). Nice to see that USMNT player Tim Weah has a stake in the ownership. That should get the ball rolling. And with Brooklyn in the fold it reminds me: what became of the planned, then doomed, Queensboro FC project?

What makes the OCSC Jersey even better is that the Jersey is based off fans chant “County Roads.” I love that OCSC involves their fans. “Orange County you are my team until the day I die….”

National League, for one, is technically "semi pro," on the whole (with some exceptions), so USL 2 could indeed factor into that pro/rel dynamic.

I had wondered if Detroit were gonna build a stadium. Keyworth isn’t their stadium. They rent it. Some ppl thought they controlled it but that wasn’t true. That campaign fund by Detroit supporters as to renovate it and keep it up. It’s in a neighborhood area and if they wanna look professional they would need a new stadium. They may keep Keyworth for their U23 club or U20 club

Campeones cup type game between USL vs CPL champs And Leagues cup type tournament between USL and CPL. and i only emphasize Canadian premier league is bc MLS already goes up against liga mx. So we have that rivalry with mexicos league already. So i would like the usl to go up against the canadian teams. I truly believe it would work well.
