Nice dude! I just saw your comment on my page about our Budds Creek race a couple years ago. So funny. Your videos are awesome. Saw you were riding at South Fork. Thats where I was living at around that time. Rode Morgans Corner a lot.

That’s a good area to live if you like riding. 3 hrs south of there and there’s so many NC tracks to choose from. Sucks they’re so far for me though. Never rode Morgan’s Corner before. Glad you like the channel! Some plans this coming season. I’m going to try to get into regular uploads. Takes so much time to produce decent ish content, every compliment is motivation to keep it going!

The quality of the bike is terrible. For the money they want for that bike, I would suggest a different brand. I had a 21 KX 450. I sold it and bought the KTM. If you race, the KTM is a much better bike. If you just play ride, then the KX might be okay if you get a screaming deal.

How’d you like the power ?
@MotoJustin282 жыл бұрын
The power is very smooth and controllable with that 450 pull at the top! It makes power like a 250 with no drop until the redline. When you wanna go though just give it a little more pepper and be reminded this isn’t lites bike.

Thats seriously unlucky. Hope you heal up fast man! Only thing I can say in my case, my suspension was done by Brad at KB5 and since then, casing and over jumping have been way more forgiving. Hope to see ya back out there soon!
@mototodd3 жыл бұрын
@@MotoJustin28 yeah I just learned about KB5 right after I got my suspension done somewhere else. First ride on it got headshake 3rd pinned on my 450 and went down hard. (First time in my life crashing from head shake). Second ride came up a little short on this triple and destroyed my knee. My suspension might me too soft. Not sure can’t ride long enough without crashing to make adjustments lol. I typically rarely crash.

What is the trick to sticking those ruts?
@MotoJustin283 жыл бұрын
Falling a lot at first lol. But fr, staying smooth all the time. Think smooth. Smooth throttle all the way. Smooth steady balancing. Stay calm and let the rut take you. I hardly turn the bars at all and just lean, only staying upright because I’m trusting the rut, and giving it (smoothly) more gas when I start to fall. A bad habit I definitely had and I think everyone has for a while with ruts is jerky throttle. To help get the feel. Shift up (to lower the rpms and power delivery) and try not to use the clutch. Hope I could help!
@s2_cool7563 жыл бұрын
@@MotoJustin28 ok I think that makes sense. The idea of throttling out of the lean? I guess the physics of it makes sense you can’t hold that angle with out some acceleration. My biggest issue is I tense up and don’t commit so my bike stands up and I end up jumping out of the rut. I’m gonna go and practice that smooth approach a bunch of times and see if I can get it.
@MotoJustin283 жыл бұрын
@@s2_cool756 a lot of people underestimate turning and just how much of a commitment it is. Jumping has its obvious dangers and turning, at least for me, I never considered a big deal till I really tried to pick up the pace. The only way to do that is to get lower and give it more throttle. The commitment to a fast, low corner especially a bigger turn that’s higher speed is just as much if not more in some cases than jumping. There’s lots of videos on cornering (definitely watch some that discuss foot placement /tennis grip /setup etc.) but staying smooth and keeping that mindset helps me the most.

That’s for my titles and any minor color enhancements or any editing I do. Also uploading through Filmora I can choose my upload quality and change aspect ratios to match the highest possible. Then KZbin always compresses the videos a bit, that’s where my fuzziness came from on my older videos. I’m just now starting to get the hang of it. I’m gearing up for some more videos this year.

ya think i can easily clear that on a 125 2 stroke first try or no enough speed out of the corner
@MotoJustin283 жыл бұрын
Every jump here is definitely doable on a 125. Nothing is really a stretch on the 250f. If you’re stretching on a 250f then a stock 125 doesn’t have it, but that’s not the case here. Every jump is caseable without much consequence and have nice safe lips. You should be good to send it. The more speed you can carry through the turn the better.

hey man, great riding! thinking of buying a 20 since i dont have enough money for a 21, hows the reliability on the bike? solid?
@MotoJustin283 жыл бұрын
It’s very solid. I have had no issues besides the usual loose bolts upon break in. Pretty common issue. Could’ve been dealer assembly for me, but I had my sprocket keep coming loose on me at 5-10hrs. Ended up over tightening each one with red thread lock to keep em from backing loose. More than likely I wallowed out the holes in my hub when it came loose the first time. Other than that. I love the bike. 65hrs strong with a built engine and valves haven’t moved at all. Still solid.

Is Kawasaki on level as Honda crf450 or Yamaha yz450 Is kaw any good does have power other two Yamaha or Honda Does have top speed power through all 5 gears would u buy 2021 kaw 450 I’m interested in buy 2021 450 I want best bike for money
@MotoJustin283 жыл бұрын
The only complaint I’ve heard about this bike at all is that the power is mellow at the bottom end. Those are your Yamaha guys who want a bike to hit so hard on the low end they can’t control it. I HIGHLY recommend the 21’ Kawi 450 for the opposite reason. Its smooth Low end power delivery (smooth for a 450. She still hits hard if you want her too) makes it a very good bike to get comfortable on and race. The cool part for me is that it delivers the power like a 250 in that mid to high rpm she’s a beast! That mid hit is perfect for pulling you out of turn and turns better than any bike I’ve ridden. But the most notable thing is the straight line stability. Zero head shake, like the 2020 250s and older frames. But overall. Yes. she’s a beast through all 5 gears and know it’s power is mid to top. I will be buying a 21 kx450 or 250 for myself this year for sure. Waiting for warmer weather. Lol

@MotoJustin283 жыл бұрын
@@carlboykin6534 I’m assuming your rmz125 is an rm, and kx125 are both 2 stroke Mx bikes and not the 4 stroke trail bikes. Either way if you’re riding even a factory 125 It’s not going to compete with a new 250f. Fully recommend getting a 250. All around great bikes. No Honda’s or Suzuki’s. Both 250s are pretty gutless. All others are going to be fast and hit way harder than a 125. Best thing I can say is there’s no jump I couldn’t hit because my 250 wasn’t fast enough, and typically a 250 can jump everything a 450 can.

Dirt is crazy. Dublin Gap Mx in PA. Great technical track, with lots of riders like the day I went it was very deep 2’ ruts in some spots. I love the Kawi! I’ve rode just about every new frame out there and in my opinion Kawis are the best all around bike. Now 2020+ their engines are fast, High revving, and pull so hard. By far they feel the lightest and are so much slimmer than the other bikes. Unfortunately I’m 5’ 9”. But being a slim bike I’m very comfortable on them. ‘21s are even better.

@MotoJustin283 жыл бұрын
AKZ magz I like the bike for so many reasons. I’ll be turning 50hrs in my this Wednesday and no engine problems. I run nothing but Royal Purple XPR and change it every 5-8 hours with oil filter. I change/ clean air filter every ride and occasionally go through bearings and grease each one. I have Brad Keeney at KB5 do all engine and suspension work. He built the motor for me and re seated valves. Checked everything up top and it looked good at 32hrs. I know I’m hitting that limiter a lot and I know it’s hard on the bike. Maintenance and tuneups are what keep this bike together. Like all Kawis. I’ve had a few bolts come loose, but blue thread lock on and they’re all good.

Hey Justin I saw your other video with the 2020 kx 250 how would you compare those 2 bikes? I'm considering both!
@MotoJustin284 жыл бұрын
They’re both pretty similar and I like that. Comparing frames only the new frames feel lengthened and almost stretched. Not as y’all of a bike. But it still turns very nicely. Maybe it’s because of the 450 power it pulls you right out of a corner but was not bad at all. The new frame feels a tad wider around the shrouds but not by much and straight line stability is even better than my 20’. Dive into braking bumps with confidence. Both bikes ride and feel like kawis. This video is my actual first time on the new frame and I got totally comfortable by the 3rd lap.
