Loved the video! Also I thought the metric modulation part was cool, but I can't tell if this is actually what's being played or not. Notice that the modulation is played after they move to a 3/4 meter so it might not be what they are playing. If somebody knows for sure what they are playing I'd be happy to hear

The only one drummer on KZbin who is concerned about making great content, and not just wasting minutes just to monetize his videos. Thanks dude

Great video and explanations! It just feels a bit weird to me not tu use the 3-3-3-2 subdivision for the eleven. Mainly because that's what I hear the piano melody on. But in general great work man! I will try to learn this groove now :D

Alex, after having followed you for quite some time I decided to get your two ebooks and as I went through the grooves I scrolled back to your old videos for the respective songs; having the direct comparison of your first videos and now is such a difference - I think your videos were always really good, but now it's really just next level. Your song selection, detailed yet comprehensible explanations, editing and in general your approach to approach a new groove is the best I've come across over the years. I wish you lots of success for the future and thank you so much for all the hard work you put in so far!

I'm just a beginner so I haven't been trying to play anything fast really. Well today I tried a song (1/8 notes) at 130 bpm. My hand so soooo tired and it started hurting. Plus the stick was sliding out of my hand. I'll have to start paying attention to my grip and see how I'm holding the stick.
