ESG is simple once you cut through all the claptrap. ESG is a form of Neo-Fascism and ideological affirmative action. It is rotten to the core and is a form of secular self-righteousness applied to business.

Does a previous knowledge of accounting be needed to pass the FSA level 1 exam?

@Anand: No, you do not need accounting background. However understanding what items mean such as assets, liabilities, equity, discounted cash flow is beneficial. Those are more finance terms.

Hi, I am a CESGA holder from EFFAS. Do you think I should take CFA ESG or SASB FSA? Please let me know, thank you.
@ed4s
@ed4s 2 жыл бұрын
Hi, both FSA and CFA ESG are very complementary. You may want to compare CFA ESG content with CESGA program (may be some overlap).

Would appreciate your view on SASB FSA vs GRI Certification. Any thoughts if I have to take one.
@ed4s
@ed4s 2 жыл бұрын
Hello Sibasis, all depends on the area and region of your work. SASB is more financial materiality driven, GRI is a stakeholder approach. In Europe GRI carries a lot of weight. In North America, SASB is more mainstream.

Sasb FSA vs CFA esg, I dont know which one to take
@ed4s
@ed4s 3 жыл бұрын
They are both complementary and take a different angle to ESG. I would recommend CFA ESG first and SASB after (or just self educate SASB has lots of free material available)
