One of the weakest performances from Rod that I've ever seen.

The duo of Rod Stewart and Ronald Isley kicked a** and I thought it couldn't get any better until.... ARETHA! OMG! She was always so fantastic! This blew me away! RIP Aretha! You will ALWAYS be the Queen!

Its so good to see this,i was at several gigs,some before they gained mass following...i.e. Cooks Ferry Inn!!..Rod played footy at my old school around 71-72,he would roll up in a yellow Lambo!..The morning after the Feb 72,Rainbow gig,i was hungover,what a night!.my cure for overindulgence was to grab my football,go to victoria park, have a kick about,as i entered the park...there before my disbelieving eyes were 'The Faces'...all of them!!watching the sunday pub teams...i was in awe.i plucked up and as i got near, Rod said 'Gissa kick'..so i flicked the ball up let it drop behind me and i backhealed it over my head to my amazement Roddy clapped and we soon me And a couple of mates were having a kick around with our local musical heroes,Rod was very good,Ron n Ron and kenney had stack heels but who cares!!...No camera phones then,someone shouted that the pub is open...so i watched as the faces climbed in the back of a massive white Rolls royce with muddy shoes on!!!...Had me a real good time !!!

Rodney you plunker o not take Aretha on
@davidmellish3295Ай бұрын
Erm firstly it's Plonker not plunker and secondly, it's a duet, he's not taking her on, they're not in competition with each other

@@davidmellish3295 a duet is a musical composition for two performers in which the performers have equal importance to the piece…that’s my point…plinker

I don't understand why these rugged lumberjacks don't simply kiss each other. I mean it's apparant for all to see that they want to lick each other's microphones. ... Was this a 1970's wanker phase ... ???? before the sex pistols bollocked it up ..... ???
