AD Connector does not provide detailed inventory and other information which UEM provides.

can mysql be used instead and installed locally?

@Jawadfarooqui4279 Though system requirements have it as supported (MySQL 5.7 Community edition or MySQL std/Ent 8.0.20 or later), I personally would not suggest going with MySQL. Depending on environment size it is better to go for MS SQL express instead of MySQL faced lots of issues in different applications with MySQL.

@jawadfarooqui4279 Depends on your number of devices. If you have a big number then it is better to use a licensed version. MySQL should work but manageability is always a challenge

i did all the steps but still got (not secured) I installed the certificate as well using the wizard, when i open the site it says that "the certificate for this website not valid" I have put the site IP as common name, does that make a difference?

Hi @Gameboom4ever640 You need to make sure your root certificate is available also on the machines. Moreover alternate DNS name should have the url name or IP you are using...

Hello, do you have another additional server for connect to WUG to get the Log Management database saved? like WUG ( Server 1 ) while Log Management database ( Server 2 )

Hi @lemontea8409 WhatsUp Gold will collect the logs and store in db. Otherwise you can use elasticsearch and integrate it with that on different server to save logs there.

Hi @Ptiscillaabigail, SQL needs to be installed separately, moreover there is no Windows 11 Server. Either you have Windows Server 2016, 2019 or 2022.

@Trek4all83 Yes, you can. For that just use ISO, mount it and run the setup run through the application wizard. In the SQL Server Installation Center wizard, go to Installation > Upgrade from a previous version of SQL Server. Enter the product key and follow the Wizard.
