When I started watching this I thought, this sounds like a very protestant point of view. Our ordained clergy mediate through mass, confession and the other sacraments. The bible is only one source of our truth. But when I listened for longer I began to understand Jim’s point of view when he explained further. Mary and the saints pray for us. I agree that we do get very focused on one favourite saint or Marian devotion, while forgetting that Jesus is number 1. Always. The time is now, he is the priority. I always felt that I needed to improve my relationship with Mary, when my relationship with Christ needs so much tending. Christ be beside me, my Father, my friend, my saviour, my heart.
