Great video! I just replaced my door panel. The new one did not come with the weatherstrip/trim for the interior window. I ordered the new part and it looks like it just hammers into the panel, is that right? Thanks?

I did something stupid and arced the positive terminal to the negative and now when I start my forester it dies and I have to start it again and give it gas. Any idea what I screwed up?

Here's a tip don't screw the 8 mils out but to the end and tap each one lightly and that will break the seal rather than trying to pry them both out

Two thumbs up!!! This is the video to watch if you need to change a battery on a 2020 Forester. Group 35 AGM, $260 everywhere except Walmart … $180, except that they are out of stock everywhere. Ordered one on line for pick up at a Walmart 60 miles away and was able to do my battery swap in the parking lot, in the dark, in the rain, in less than 10 minutes using the instructions from this video. Returned the core to the service desk, job complete. Didn’t even lose my presets on the radio.

I tried to replace mine but I wasn’t sure how to remove the outside trim. I have searched high and low for instructions but cannot find anything online. I’m living in Japan and have a 2010 Outback. My lights are custom and Subaru won’t touch it since they’re not OEM lights, unfortunately. Cheers

Why did you Remove the Screw on top of the????.🤔

Just changed out my tail light. The only thing that was a problem was the plastic “screws” -he says to use a Phillips head and 1/4 turn and out it pops. Nope. For one thing, there is a line, not a groove on the head of the screw, but not enough to even get a screwdriver in it. 1/4 turn did nothing to help get it out. I had to destroy the plastic screw to get it out. I used a drywall insert and a regular screw to put it back on.

This is useless. your car is already apartt and you explained nothing.....

Can you do this process (not asking you to do a video but wandering if it’s possible?) with the door closed? I think one of my Cables has broken and the car door won’t unlatch. I’ve undone the two screws but like - thinking I’ll have to unbolt the driver seat to manipulate my hands into the curve edge at the bottom where you put the tool into, to unclick the panel

My mother in law backed into something and I attempted to replace both the tail light housing and the one in the hatch. Let's just say only the tail lights got replaced lol. I was able to reassemble the back hatch interior trim despite several broken clips, etc.
