There's something very whimsical in hearing such a funny song sung in operatic style. It's like hearing High Fey sing, I should think.

I wonder what interrupted them. I think the hobbits would enjoy hearing this XD

Hearing those first few lines, I realized they could be referring to the magic of song ever-present in Arda. If Galadriel sings this of herself, just how powerful is she?

The Silmarillion is a treasury of theological rumination. The Music of the Ainur may be the best description of the Creation outside of Genesis. The Downfall of Numenor is prescient--a warning to 21st century schizoid men.

This is probably the first full recording of a great old Percy Wenrich song in 100 years. Both verses! And great fun. A new Halloween favorite. Thank you so much.

6:12 The singular of "Valar" is "Vala", hence it should read "Ulmo, the *Vala* who governs the sea". Consider revising.

We are aware of that and have been since after the video went live - it is a typing error that will have to stand now as to fix it will require entirely re-rendering of the video and removal of this video to replace with the new one. Since this has been live now for over a year our attentions are better served on our upcoming projects.

Paul Corfield Godfrey wrote a full setting of “The Sea Bell” or “Frodo’s Dream” in the 1970s, it ran to nearly 30 minutes though! The version that is in LOTR has been trimmed back to 15 minutes and Frodo sings it at the beginning of the chapter “The Grey Havens” as he is preparing to leave the Shire for the final time.

@VolanteOperaProductions Жыл бұрын
Hi guys, sorry to disappoint but they are not all on Spotify, if fact those that are are on in error and will be removed shortly. We do not receive enough in returns from the streaming platforms to make it worthwhile, one CD sale from us is more than we’d get in a year on Spotify. If you wish to hear them in their entirety please purchase on iTunes etc. otherwise we may never reach the threshold to release the future works.
