The subtle lyrical differences are meaningful. "how I ever made it..." "she know she's gonna go home..." The changes are on purpose and they make it hit harder.

She was the opener to The Longest Johns when they came to Sheffield last month and in that performance she got "this is very hard" into it and it cracked me up honestly. Sad that isn't here but it's lovely to hear the full thing again in such good quality <3

Every time he talks about his amazing Mom of the brutality she suffered from the years of constant beatings from her husband, it brings me to tears. How can you beat someone that loves you?
