I'd be interested to listen to the full, no music no narration audio for this ride sometime, the snipped I can hear sound like a relaxing way to doze off!

As a fan and worker of urban railways, this is really amazing, the quality is so good and it is very interesting to see a detailed trip of this American metro system that is a marvel, and also to hear facts about people who worked and are working in this company, greetings from Mexico and keep it up to doing stuff like this.

The first minute of the movie actually shows the method of attachment of the camera to the body of the train and he even cleaned up the surface with isopropanol - this thing was solid, GoPro 3M attachments can survive almost anything, especially on well prepared surface. Stirling job Vincent!

Love this documentary of BART, I was born and raised in the East Bay Area and my family was actually forced to relocate due to the construction of the underpass which was constructed on Ashland st in San Lorenzo The construction of the underpass was done to allow traffic on Ashland to go underneath the Bart tracks that would be overhead, there were several houses and some apartments that met the wrecking ball to accommodate BART including my families residence. My family eventually moved to Medford Ave in North Hayward, and our house on Medford was less than a block away from BART elevated tracks, I can still remember the test trains that were very crudely, and simple in design traveling back and forth along the BART track for what seemed a couple of years prior to BART going operational and available to the public I have always had an affinity for BART as a child watching it be built in my city, to cutting school in JR High to go with several classmates to go ride BART on the day it opened to the public, and the many ventures taken over the years. All these years later I feel that BART has definitely been, and remains an asset to the Bay Area today I’ve also lived in Portland Oregon which has a light rail system The MAX Train, which in the 30+ years I lived there I witnessed the MAX be expanded across the Portland Metro Area and become what today is a Light Rail System that is definitely a benefit to the Portland Metro Area residents, as well as visitors to the Area Today as I’m writing this I am now residing in Atlanta Georgia, and here we have MARTA rail system, which for a Metro Area the size of Atlanta is by no means sufficient, and has a long way to go before it will ever resemble anything remotely close to BART

what a genius idea for a documentary. this was so beautiful and the interviews and music were such an engaging part of the whole thing. this should definitely be on netflix or on IMAX.

This is the problem Miami is facing now. We have a few systems, but we have not expanded them in many years. And it's come to the point where we can no longer live without it.

Just want to say how inspiring this is, I regularly film BART from the air (drone) and they use a lot of my footage on their social media but when I've requested to ride and film with them I was told they strictly forbid it. The way you went about this was the best approach, crafty and thoughtful with such a beautiful outcome. So kudos to you for thinking outside of the box. I don't see you on IG but if there's an account for your work I would love to follow.

Thanks for making this video. I rode BART when it first opened but always wanted to ride out on the Concord line but never did. How did you get your camera off of the other side of the train? Also.... You were very inciteful when you said that "BART was built in during short window. Too early and the technology wasn't available. Too late and the funds wouldn't be available. And also... Private transit system were almost uniformly unprofitable. That's why they were almost all shut down.

This is wonderful. Though-if you're going to put your transit in the median of a highway, _you have to go faster than the cars!_ Otherwise it's negative advertising, and more importantly, it's letting the side down ;).
