These folk should have been packing arenas. Great example of a record label not living up to their end of the deal. Dive in, you'll be glad you did. RIP ELYSE....

"Saw Your Video" was the first Replacements song I ever heard, and was instantly a fan. I sorta wish they turned it into a proper song, but I guess that was what "Bastards of Young" was.

Hi nice office. How has the experience with it been so far? Would you recommend this? Did you have to prep the ground before it arrived?
@BridgetC1 Жыл бұрын
This isn’t my office, it’s my friends. She loves it and yes they had to prep the ground and get electrical/cable set up.

Hey, do you have any more? I actually formed the band and Tad is my bff and so we decided to do it together. Tad fell in love and we had been offered a deal, and we both decided to bag it and I wanted him to be happy, he is still married and we are still bff's.

Hey Ben! Whatever I have is online here. I know who you are, keep up with Tad and Peggy (I was at their wedding 😄) I don’t think I knew that you guys had a deal? Hope you’re doing well!

I think everyone that the music was from a track...not expecting band behind the curtain like that. There is a video someone shot behind the curtain for this opening. Portland tickets were sold out...but the first day was awesome. I had a blast!

Had the pleasure to see HuskerDu, The Pylons and The Replacements in 1982 at our local University. The bands were touring the Midwest and wanted to play to get exposure....AND play they did! Awesome show for like $8.00!!! Smuggled beer and “stuff” into the show, drinking with the bands and having one hell of a great time. Amazing memories that seem so long ago. Wild and crazy days!

Good one! Join my rare hair and 80's metal, AOR group on FB. Search Rare and Unknown Hair Metal. This is for people that want to hear the rarer music from the 80's that we aren't hearing today. Also newer bands that have the same sound.

I think you all might like to know: Seattle has had a very active music scene for a long time, and having daily live shows in a relatively small city means we all have constant opportunities to see artists live! It's really cool, but combined with our generally asocial demeanor it means we have legendarily inactive crowds. Even at punk and metal shows, most people will just be standing and sipping on a beer with a very small minority dancing or moshing. It takes a LOT to get people worked up here, so imagine the kind of energy Death Grips has to generate to get all these people rockin! I was fortunate enough to see them live here, but not at this specific show. I saw them at the SoDo Showbox, Ministry and Death Grips back to back. It was a hell of a night and I'll remember the intensity of it forever. Listening to the albums is one thing, but seeing them in person is a once in a lifetime experience. If Death Grips ever comes to your town, you gotta see them if you can. A piece of advice; don't be near the stage when the music starts unless you can handle being crushed.

A word to the videographer: Put these guys in focus dude. Creating atmosphere is all well and good, but when you can’t make out the band members, you’ve missed the point.

Greatest night of my life was being absolutely wallopped by DG in Vancouver 2015. Seeing Ride flail and wild out all over the stage like he was Iggy Pop circa '69 made me feel like I was truly part of the madness of Death Grips for a few hours. Absolute mad lads
