I can't believe that the two of you stand with a genocidal regime. Have a good look at yourself. If the roles were reversed in Israel and the Palestinians. I would side with Israel. Some thing nether of you can do.🙏🏽

*We love Jews, as long as they don't practice Judaism* I grew up in Hawaii, and there, for a long time the hula was banned, speaking Hawaiian was banned, hell there were even things in place to "Americanize" us like the food we ate in school, it was pure Midwest Protestant fare. (I'm on the mainland now.) Meanwhile, in my family on my mother's side I strongly suspect that when they escaped Lithuania and came to the US, they decided, like many did, to leave Judaism behind in the old country. I was raised with this secrecy, "go along and get along", and so on. I need to get a copy of Ms. Horn's book ASAP.

I adore you, @madanadayani thank you so much as someone that has Jewish dad and I'm the granddaughter of Holocaust survivors, and since October 7th I have faced antisemtism from friends, I had people say such antisemtic things to me, its been so painful. I also have a Jewish husband as well and we thank you for being so amazing.

I once stood on a NYC subway platform (circa 2005) and overheard someone say to her companion "If so many people hate the Jews - they must of done something to deserve it." It's become hardwired like an archetype in the psche.

Do you think that the Gentile world believes that by all rights, Jews, as an ancient tribe belong in the dustbin of history? Could that be why they love dead Jews and eschew the live ones who identify as Jews? Btw, Hitler virtually admitted that it was because Jews introduced the burden of morality that he hated and wanted to destroy them, in an interview.

36.00, let's be clear, the zoning and gentrification issues presented by the media were because of the race of the assailants. If the criminals who attacked the orthodox jews in new jersey and new york were white, the media would have described the attack as complete anti Jewish hate. No excuses would have been included in the reports. Jews answer to the narrative just like everybody else.

When Jew-hatred permeates a culture, it is harder for people to see it. It's like a fish not knowing it is surrounded by water.

When I arrived in Southern California and moved into a small apartment complex in Costa Mesa, one of my very caring neighbors made sure to get into my hands a copy of the Protocols Of The Elders Of Zion. Plus some other pamphlets. Something about Sunday law or something, some other crap. Later, I lived in semi-rural Arizona and you can't swing a cat there without hitting a Nazi and this was in the 90s. I can't imagine how bad those places are now.

People are not "basically good at heart." Without a strong spiritual upbringing, they are weak, vulnerable, and highly impressionable and can go either way.

I listened to this in, I think, October when you shared it on your Instagram page. Very interesting to relisten to it again so many months later with more insight into so much of what it speaks on. Thank you to both of you for the continued work you do. Both of you have been a part of me getting through the last few months and being able to understand so much of what has been happening.

Throughout Jewish history those in power and the oppressed have both blamed Jews. Jewish identity and Jewish history don’t fit into anyone’s pet theories or ideology. We get people with no knowledge of Jewish history or Judaism who want to decide what’s antisemitic and what isn’t. It’s gaslighting and bs but even a lot of Jews buy into it. Dara Horn made me think about contemporary Jewish life that never occurred to me. I wonder if The Smithsonian, the Washington Post and the NYTimes respond to Dara Horn’s criticisms. I appreciate her son’s super villain analysis of Shylock’s speech. I will certainly never think about The Merchant of Venice.
