I consider myself a fan of PL for 25 years....and I hear it in May 2022 for the first time. Thank you for posting, shame on me.

A less talented band would have released a song like this as their lead single. The fact that it was relegated to B-side status (and it wasn't even on the standard edition of the Forever After single), speaks volumes about the quality of PL's songwriting.

Do you know I've been obsessed with Christ for years but always been a Gothic I don't think these are sick religion will always be part of me but they are making me feel the bad dark side in me in all of us that does exist it's getting it out of my system instead of running after God for answers and hope XXX

@@Billybloop Greg Macintosh is fan of DM, hence the DM inspired music he's made just so you know!
@Billybloop4 жыл бұрын
@@ronan.pellen even so, DM are a corny band and IMHO have nothing on acts like paradise lost and de/vision. They only got the coverage they did because they are super basic and humdrum. I'm sure a lot of people like DM as much as they like Elton John or Neil Diamond.

How many times can I pass this by? On and on regardless How many times must I gratify? On and on regardless How many times must I have this trial? On and on in darkness It's the question of life It's a quest for a sign A side you'll never know It's a question of life It's a quest for a sign A side you'll never know How many times must I pacify On and on regardless How many times, how sullen the smile All consuming sadness Open your eyes for the last time Find a way in darkness It's the question of life It's a quest for a sign A side you'll never know It's a question of life It's a quest for a sign A side you'll never know How many times can I pass this by? On and on regardless How many times can I multiply? On and on regardless It's the question of life It's a quest for a sign A side you'll never know It's a question of life It's a quest for a sign A side you'll never know

This piece of evidence Rendered useless All you kept-under threats-prep Of a burial under a cloud All the chains you broke Evoked the mirth of spring So here they arrived at haven And thought they could stay By this river and breathe free Of a burial under a cloud All the chains you broke Evoked the mirth of spring But hope It dispersed in homes and haunts- Like mercy that is now in pieces There by the promise Broken down by murder Striking life down and harvesting Its own From the earth As it was season making room for Spring itself
