Great Tutorial! Thanks for uploading. I struggled a bit to get the pipe on the new part slotted back in to the notch (shown at 10:35 in the video) so I used a bit of fairy liquid and it slid into place much easier. Reaching that bleed nipple and turning it is tricky but got there in the end.

A defective part. Ford had to use plastic instead of metal on that part to save 5 cents.

I hope I will be able to open the hud...because my cable is broke, do you have any suggestions how to open the hud without cable being visible, i see only few strings of wire from inside, it's not enough strong to pull and open it...

@ did one yesterday US version. I did try to pop the center consul leather off, but it wasn’t like the one in your video. So I ended up taking the complete plastic off of the glove box, but I never detached the center console screw, but the plastic was bendable enough for me to grab the filter out and slide in the new one since it’s not that big. Didn’t save me much time but time to take the center apart.

Good morning. I have a 2020 Captur dci 115cv. Continental 2591A6575R SOS control unit. It always reports "SOS check" I replaced the internal battery but still without success. I ask you, if I buy an identical one from a demolition center, do I just install it and it is automatically seen by the other control units or is it necessary to program something? Hello and thank you for this usefull video. I have Captur II 2021. it has SOS function and I triggered it once unknowing how it works It is really stupid thing. Once it start calling you cannot stop it until it ends. Fortunatelly I am outside EU so it cannot get anyone. My question is; I hear some clunking noise arround steering wheel while driving. Can that be this battery? As I can see in your video it is really well secured in place. What else could be?

It’s not as easy as that otherwise everyone would be doing it you have to let the vehicle know that it’s been rectified with a diagnostic machine that is capable of carrying out this procedure my advice is to take it a dealership to do the work as it is a safety issue

I've got a question. A few days ago I replaced the thermostat on my Is250 2012. At first it was overheating so I stopped, let it cool and left it near my home. Next day I went to bleed out the air. Opened the radiator cap, put the heater on max and let it idle until it reached operating temp. Went for a test drive, driving both low revs and hard, with heater on and off. No overheating, but the hose which is connected to the thermostat is always cold, so I'm assuming the thermostat doesn't open. Weird thing is the engine is not overheating, though the weather outside which is around 0 Celsius might be helping with cooling the engine. Does this mean there's still air in the system or a faulty thermostat?

I just got to the end of the video and realized I tried to bleed out the air by opening the reservoir cap and not the cap on the thermostat housing, gonna try it tomorrow

One side should get worm and the other cold when the thermostat opens otherwise you might have a air lock somewhere

@GamesInLTU wait the bubble to stop don’t put your face or any of your body parts next to the thermostat housing cap also keep an eye on the temperature gage close the cap because it’s reaches halfway on the temperature gauge in the car don’t forget to let the engine cool down for at least half hour before rechecking level
