Sweet rig man. What pound coils you running up front? I currently have 650 pound coils and am wondering if it will be enough for my 135lb plate bumper + Winch totaling around 200lbs

I have the same setup, with a warn winch. I put the ditch lights where your putting them when I mounted mine. Looks badass man.

I'm happy for you that the little pricks didn't take your tailgate. As a 4runner owner and into a lot of overlandding, I couldn't imagine seeing my pride and joy getting stuff ripped off and leaving me with that son of a bitchers feeling, if it's possible can you install two of those locks, one at each end. Good luck to you, and be safe out there.

I keep my tailgate locked too for that very reason. I never dreamt they'd break the tail lights though to try to get it off. What do we need now? Armored tail lights?

Yeah I keep mine locked all the time. Not everyone’s Tacoma comes with a locking tailgate though.

You can also add a hose clamp not as secure as this option but will slow them down.

Don't think its so easy you take the wrong vehicle. Just because its open doesn't mean its been maintained in any way recently. Being snatched out is expensive. Ask me how I know. It is beautiful, though.

Yes you can mount an awning on these. They (rci) makes awning mounts with extensions for the 12 inch bed rack that will get you above the cab door or high enough for your 6'1 height. I'm 6'3 and it's worked for me. One thing to remember is if you get a 270 awning with these 12 inch racks....the awning will sit 6-8 inches higher or more then your tent so it will run into your window bars that hold your windows open on some roof top tents. But you can accommodate this by offsetting your tent slightly away from the awning when you mount it to the rack.

Hey guys just wanted to share a suggestion. There’s nothing wrong with propane heaters running all night long in your tent. As long as you have at least one little vent open in your tent to allow oxygen to come in. Most people under misconception that propane heaters give off carbon monoxide what actually happens is the propane burns off all the oxygen available in the tent. Hints why you leave at least one vent open. Have been doing this method all my life while camping. Happy camping!

hey quick question you are running a positive from the battery to the blue sea fuse block on the top side? and then the bottom is connected to your ground bar? If so where is the positive going out from the blue sea block?

Thanks for the video. I just installed the undercover swing boxes in the bed of my 2023 Tacoma SR5 v6 4x4, I have a cubby on the passenger side but not on the drivers side but was still able to install it. Purchased the pair from Amazon for $209 made in China but they work well no issues.

Please do not underestimate this trail even it is considered as 'beginner trail'. Some part of the trail is narrow, your car could slipped and fall off the cliff, especially if there is snow, ice, or rain. There are a few spots that low clearance car/suv could have difficulty.
