Nothing wrong with hare meat,back in early sixties I chase yabbies and hare along creeks out from towoomba not so built up then,a afternoon would produce half bucket yabbies,couple top not pigeons and if lucky get hare,my grandmother would always cook up,the hare need soak in salt water for few hours then do meat as stew.

@@TeamTibbett Give tip on chasing hare's,as they do not live in burrow like rabbits,they have hide in grass areas,if put hare up out there hide and don' get shot,walk about 30 yards away just sit on ground,that hare do big circle come back,you get second chance get him,I use carry two guns,a 410 double barrel and 22lr browning pump probably best light game guns of early days.

@@TeamTibbett a 17 or 22 air rifle we found they not stop them,the old ici 22 hollow point was best,the new ammo is much better now and I reckon the .17hmr would be great on them.

Was I out passed Burren Junction first dam out of town heading towards Collarenebri on the right pulled a good haul also found some sneaky tracks to fish on the Barwon river

Fun day and a great meal at the end. Those flies are something else. Only place I've seen them that thick around here is when I worked on chicken farms, and it was only half as bad as where you are 😂🍻

G'day Ken, the house is all done. I did do a video showing it ( you might have missed it ). I only had the yard to finish which is done now . It's actually in the hands of my property manager 👍. You should do alright most of the creeks are full this year and we have rain predicted for most of next week so that should really bring them out. 👍

Beef steak tomatoes are huge, do yourself a favour and try to get a Black Russian tomato, absolutely beautiful flavour and lower in acid. That bush you didn't know the name of might be Lignum I think.
