I dont know if I've ever seen a finer example of someone making a game into their bitch. Scoreruns always look like whole other games I've never seen before, even if I've ostensibly played the same software. Congratulations!! Even if it's a former WR now, this is leagues above and beyond the abilities of ant average Touhou player.

Silly forum challenge for an EoSD survival run, tiebreak by score. So obviously the play is to LNN it with scoring strats on the first credit of the stream :D

Woo, congrats! I hadn't been following EoSD scores in a while, then I randomly searched and saw you pulled this off! It's crazy how far routes have progressed compared from when 700mil was the goal everyone was shooting for. It almost feels like 800mil can happen if everything comes together perfectly and with good rng.

Something interesting is that sometimes they stop shooting and wait for the spell card to time out. And with every wave of the spell card, the point increases…. Interesting tactic

Grazing bullets causes the value of star items to increase for that stage, which makes bullet cancels worth more, and also directly contributes to the Stage Clear bonus. Some spells are worth timing out or bomb-cancelling.

@@CrestedPeak9 yup! Thats what i observed but you put it into better detail. I figured some spells give more graze which give points, and that the points surpasses the spell card bonus, thus making it worth it to time out the spell card. Edit: wait what are star items?

@@geeseispluralforgoose the raw points you get from grazing are hardly worth anything, the big thing is that the value of star items (bullet cancels) depends on graze
