Republican Bill Sizemore lost this race BADLY (64-30%). He is anti-union and does not pay his taxes. He was was worst major party nominee for Governor of Oregon since at least 1950 when Oregon Democrats put forward Austin F. Flegel against Governor Douglas McKay. Flegel ran a bitter campaign and lost badly. Unlike Sizemore, Flegel understood that he was unelectable. Sizemore is a joke.

It's interesting to listen to this now in 2022. I grew up as a small town republican and evangelical. I turned away from all religious faith based beliefs and slowly became left of center politically. Now after 13 years living in a popular progressive city, I'd like to move to a small town again. It's a tremendously difficult decision though.
