I've tried swagyu's OG burger. It's fantastic, at $23 it's a bit pricey, but you get what you pay for.

The worst taco shop in San Diego. This guy Kyle Whissel gets paid by these crappy establishments. I had gone to a restaurant that he recommended and got food poisoning. You can never trust a real estate agent. They're all shady.

*NOTHING shown IS AUTHENTIC HAWAIIAN* (though the kalua pig with cabbage comes close). What the owner doesn't mention and he SHOULD HAVE, is that these dishes are Hawaii LOCAL type foods... there is a difference between Hawaiian vs. Hawaii Local (which is a mixture of different ethnic foods that have become popular over generations. But IF Tom doesn't know this, then shame on him !

This place doesn’t cook there meat in house they outsource and serve I don’t even believe they make their sides 😂

My family and I used to go to this restaurant when I was a preteen and teenager. I've never forgotten this place. I forgot the names of many restaurants but not this one. Lots of memories. I'm glad some things stay the same.

April 20th, stopped to eat and I have had bbq all over the United States. I never thought that i would have bbq as good as Texas. Their brisket is as good as anyones. My wife had chicken and also said it was great. The price was more than fair. Thanks guys and keep up the good bbq.

I didn't know their story. We go there a lot, they have great service and my husband loves their carne asada nachos. I had never heard of wet burritos until we went to Fred's in Old Town with out-of-town friends, and I was confused that we were supposed to eat a burrito covered in salsa with a knife and fork. I don't really consider that as a San Diego Mexican Food burrito, but I'm the type to always order the same things, so I know I don't really know anything. I'm going to be nit picky and point out that that isn't really the heart of La Mesa. I would say downtown La Mesa is the heart. La Mesa actually started over on 70th and El Cajon Blvd.

I had Anny's fine burgers multiple times in the past . I normally place my order on Ubereats . I always get the hot n spicy burger,Anny's hot dog and hangover burger 🍔 I recommended! it's delicious and it has cured one of my hangover 😋

We were driving around last week, got hungry and stopped here. It looked different out front, they have like a big tented area, or covered area rather, with tables out front. The menu didn't have prices, and I didn't know that "whipped" means whipped cream, but anyway my husband loved his burger. We both got a smash burger, but he got the southwest sauce which he said made a big difference. I just got ketchup and mustard, he tried mine and said his was way better. We were comparing it to Freddy's. I think I prefer Freddy's but he said he preferred Funky's. Lol

Their monster burger with bacon and jalapenos is great. You have to be extra hungry though. Make sure you get the snickers shake.

Incredible! Can’t wait to try the pizza. Probably take more than one visit, however, as I I’m generally a “smash burger” guy and would need to try them as well!
