Arrival and departure drop of point should be covered with roof , rain protection. Other wise this airport would be gmr Goa International airport and all passengers will face issues in mansoon season. And proper drainage system required in forecourt areas, roads, drop of points.

Lmao, Comparing Municipalities' budget ? Compare GDP and Income. Mumbai Gets only 7 rupees for every 100 rupees paid in taxes whereas Arunachal pradesh get 400 rupees for every 100 rupees paid. Is Arunachal pradesh better than Mumbai? I am comparing a city with whole state and yet, mumbai has better projects and development. Budgets never determine the development, mainly the municipality. Projects in a city gets funded by banks, central govt and State governements, and municipality budget is just for maintaining the city not for developement and projects. Hyderabad is in whole different league than Vizag. Compare Vizag with Nagpur and Pune. Moreover, Vizag is a very beautiful city. Making it a capital will just make it ugly by destroying the mountains. Just look out of the flight window, Vizag is 1000x more beautiful than any other tier-2 and tier-1 cities. It's better not to touch vizag. Let it be beautiful, clean and green without much traffic.

This is will be unfinished airport for next decade or 2 coz the govt changes and priorities changes.. one more unfinished dream of vizag , pity for the potential city to become tier 1 but always stuck in tier 2 list . Thank you vizag ! But it’s a pretty unfair world we live in .

Delays are still occuring... Today i was coming from Srinagar to delhi on IndiGo. The flight was circling around Delhi airport because of the traffic. I was seeing on FR24 There was space avalible.... Please work on delays

This looks like an early 2000s design for an airport terminal. Bangalore T2 is head and shoulders ahead of this. What’s wrong with you guys GMR.

Very bland.. looks like Melbourne airport from 1980s. I have travelled far and wide.. Bengaluru and Mumbai airports are one of the best and have subtle Indian elements! Cannot wait for Navi Mumbai International Airport, it will definitely be a notch above the rest!
