Captain offbeat works well for those west coasters who clap on the 1 and 3.

I would not recommend it for piano playing since it's on wheels 😅 I'm not sure of the brand as it was a gift.

I appreciate the straightforward and concise explanation. Many tutorials I encounter tend to overcomplicate the subject matter, making it difficult to follow. As a self-taught keyboardist with limited knowledge of chord progressions, I find it beneficial to learn through observation and listening. Slower explanations are particularly helpful in my learning process.

And then I'm lost in Tip #5 because I cannot understand what we're doing. I can only play the chords.

Nina Simona was so good at mixing genres though! She was playing jazz and all of a sudden, a classical solo. So wonderfully done! 😍 But yeahh I agree not everybody can have the ability to do it without it sounding weird hehe.

Love it bro. Brilliant. I used to play bass at a couple of inner city churches. Moving around the fretboard is great because of all the flats in Gospel. In most of the Spanish speaking churches (and my current one) I can’t get them to play in flat keys, if I begged them to. We’re always missing opportunities to modulate into other keys. But this tutorial outlines the need to enrich our knowledge base. 😊

Thank you Dion. You are very knowledgeable when it comes to understanding music theory. Do you have a degree in music? If you do, does the school that you attended offer a master’s in music. Thank you for sharing your knowledge with us. God bless.
