This elevator sucks. Breaks down often. Also smells like burning hydraulic fluid too. How do I know this? I work on the third floor.

They were installed in 2018. And they probably use Salient chimes for some reason.

Interesting how this is a 3300 but has a 5500-like exterior, most likely to match the main hotel elevators. Also interesting how this is definitely a 3300 and not a 3000, despite the building only opening in January 2024 - although the capacity plaque at 0:26 says “In Service 2022” so this was obviously installed quite early, before the 3300 became obsolete in NZ.

*Wow!* 5500s with D-Series! I have always wanted to find out what they've got here, seeing as the hotel (and adjacent office tower) only opened about a week after I left Auckland last time. And I am NOT disappointed at all - these lifts look very posh!

It isn't new. It was installed in 2010, according to Alex Stanton, who has filmed this elevator.

I think they're Schindler M-Series, judging by the doors. And I sure love the ECD voice being on some Schindler elevators.

It's an N MonoSpace. The fixtures are actually KDS 330 with the buttons KDS 300-AUS. And it was installed in 2020.
