Your videos were the first I started watching when I got started in card making. I learned a lot and enjoyed your personality. Now that Sister Stamps are coming out again and looking back at my favorite videos. I believe you were going to college at the time of this video. Just wondering where you are in life now. Are you in some type of art field or something else.

@@NanaI-s5p wow… that’s so nice to hear that you’ve enjoyed my content and that I might have inspired part of your creative side. I honestly haven’t been making cards in a while. Only for very special occasions and currently I work in the travel industry. I hope to make time to get back into this old hobby of mine to express my creative side like I did before. Thanks for the inspiration and hopefully I can actually get around to make something next week with this reminder of yours 😊

I'm made single braided leis for hobby, but for double, do you recommend 5/8" or a thinner/thicker width?
@MicahsCrafts3 жыл бұрын
Umm.. the thicker ribbon that you use is definitely easier, but feel free to use any size that you like. I would recommend starting with a thicker and heftier type of ribbon and it'll definitely make the experience easier. Later on you can integrate sheer or mixed types of ribbons.

Thanks! One more question....Do the strands have to be same in length? Just FYI, but very good vid. I kind of practicing.

I had no idea you have ribbon leis! I thought they were just flowers! What a lovely tradition! And how lovely to have a male make and wear these, within a culture where men are not shamed for doing so! Think that's a big lesson from Hawaii right there to the rest of the world!!! I love them! 😘😘😘

Please help me by telling me where to find good ribbon in 100 yard spools. I am using 3/8” but having trouble finding it in different colors. Spending too much time looking on line and no time for crafts. Thank you. Judy

I’m not sure where you live. But I buy my ribbon locally at a store named Ben Franklin when they go on sale. They have every color in every type of ribbon. If you’re somewhere else I would check Michael’s or Joanne’s for good spools of ribbon. I hope that helps
