Judging from the essay/ writings Nekojiru wrote, there was some speculation going around about the artist that she was "menhera", which is a Japanese slang to designate mentally unstable person. From some media records like documentary you can also find on KZbin, she said to her editor(of the magazine she worked on) such things like how she wants to draw what she wants rather than what audience want, or leaving somewhere far away like 3rd world country with her husband. But in the end at the age of around 30, she took her own life away.
