I felt like Lance definitely did have a very subtle development over the past seven seasons. (This comment will be talking about some parts of season 7 so minor spoilers?) It’s just that we haven’t seen a full arc focused on Lance 😭 though season 7 definitely probably had the most Lance focus we’ve seen in a while. His sharpshooter skills were definitely put to use. And once again, he was injured and knocked out because of his lack of bond with Red. Probably cuz Red once again needs her paladin to prove himself worthy or red just like coming to save them at the last moment 😂 And season one lance wouldn’t have been as serious as the lance now. He would’ve usually slacked off and just continued flirting and all. But the lance we see now trains by himself and evolved his bayard and felt vulnerable. Well, I mean in episode 1 yea you could see the hurt in his eyes when Iverson told him that the only reason he was here was cuz Keith dropped out. But it was during the Slav rescue mission (the intro to this vid) that he starts to question his worth. AND SEASON 7 LANCE IS MAKING JOKES ABOUT DEATH AND EVEN ALMOST ACCEPTED IT?! And remember what i said about Iverson. Cuz Iverson apologized to Keith which I’m really glad for but we haven’t seen Iverson apologize to Lance. Maybe he did and we haven’t seen it but I think Iverson apologizing to lance would be really important in boosting his self esteem back up and his development. Bringing back something from season 1 ep 1 would be really fricking cool 😭 Lance really needs to be acknowledged in season 8. Yes we fans love him but no one in Voltron has really said anything to lance about his worth in the team because no one noticed his vulnerability yet 😭PLEASE SEASON 8 PULL THROUGH FOR US PLEASE 💕 Edit: I’m sorry I wrote a lot 😂 I just wanted to get that off my chest.

I thought it would be a happy upbeat AMV and now I’m a little sad 😂 it’s so good though and the timing on the bridge of the song when Lance fired that shot was so PERFECT 😍 This may not have been the mood I expected but it was still really damn good 👍🏻 💕
