The Real about their moral values. It's basically a love letter to the younger generations saying "Hey, do your own thing. Don't be afraid to do things your way and challenge old ways, but you can do it respectfully, without being a jerk". And yeah, their debut was insane. They were the most fully formed group from Debut on. That confidence from day 1 really set Ateez's swag reputation in stone.

As in all Fandom there are some fans who spend as much Exols or just D.O. stan, but most of them don't care about things like that, apart from the fact that he is a great actor and already has stronger kissing scenes than he is, he always makes it clear to his fans that he is just a friend nothing more, there are some fans of other groups or idols who call them boyfriend or even husband and D.O sometimes they also say it but to see how he reacts because he has always said no neither boyfriend nor husband he at most a friend and that's it, there are other idols who don't bother them, they even joke with their fans, but he makes things clear in that sense...

Mamamoo is amazing, incredible to think they've been around 10 years and although they're more focused on their solo careers they're all still making incredible music. Just pure talent all around, I hope we get a little something new at least once more but even if not, there's so much Mamamoo content out there and it's all good!

The medley is incredible, you can see it a million times and you still love it and smile throughout the whole video. I never cease to be amazed at how short the video is yet it feels like they just went forever and you could listen to so much more. I can only imagine how epic it would be to experience one of their performances in person.

Immortal Songs Medley is just a collection of snippets from their performances on the show Immortal Songs. This is already amazing as is but the full performances are even better. Highly recommend you don't skip that.

I have lost track of how many times I have seen this performance. Every time it makes me smile and lifts me up inside. The talent with these four are unmatched. it's not just the talent, it's the personalities and charisma they have on stage and share with the audience.

They are known as vocal queen and harmonize with each others well. They are 4 vocal, 4 performer, 4 dancer, 4 rapper, 4 songwriter, 4 comedian and 4 soloist. They come from small agency that they struggle from beginning that they need to work hard to promote themselves as company don’t have the budget. Even their b-side song is a must listen song. You will need to see them perform live once and their concert is a must attend. Their concert last for 3 hours and their records, they did it once a 4 hours concert. Normally mamamoo fans don’t have a bias in this group, we moomoo (fandom name) is OT4

The real (the last song) is a song that ateez first introduced through the show kingdom back in 2021 (a show where kpop groups compete against each other in performances, rap, dance ect. the groups involved were ateez, straykids, the boys, ikon, btob, sf9), and was then added as one of the title tracks in an album, it holds a lot of their culture in the song & korean culture refrences in it so it's a pretty important song. As you mentioned, yes, it's a song that they perform a lot in pretty much every concert and you can always expect them to add the real to the setlist 😁

I know I'm hella late considering this vid is almost 2 weeks old but about what you said about wishing getting into them earlier: I felt the same way when I got into ateez in 2021 with the release of turbulence(the lyrics being exactly what I needed to hear at that moment). but as time passed, especially after getting around to chatting with other atinys, I realized their songs somehow find you when you need to hear them the most. so no need to feel like you're missing out or anything! it's well known between the fans that ateez was destined to be and the same goes for this encounter too^^ loved the reaction btw thanks for showing support to the boys <3

Endless Night is an interesting choice for a first reaction. Most reacters don't usually jump straight the a Japanese release for a first time reaction. Nothing wrong with it. I understand your reasoning behind it. It just kind of caught me off guard for a bit. This, as you know, is one of their Japanese releases and, like a lot of people, you mentioned that it sounds like an anime opening. Kind of hard to avoid with Japanese pop/rock songs, right? But, surprise, they actually do have a legitimate anime opening under their belt. It's called Eclipse and it was either the opening or ending (I forget which) for the anime King's Raid: Successor of the Will. The King's Raid anime is based off a mobile game and a few years back the producers of the game came to Dreamcatcher and asked them to make a song for the game soundtrack. That's how we got the DC song Deja Vu which a lot of people consider to be Dreamcatcher's masterpiece. Also, Dreamcatcher isn't also called Suitcatcher for nothing. 😁

"Endless night" is not my favorite by them. But - this group is a black hole. So much different. You'll never get out again. Even with the B-sites, cover versions, special clips etc. But - so what. Then that's how it is. And its good.

I definitely agree that Mamamoo is under appreciated and too often overlooked, but I don’t think the timing of when they debuted/released music is a major contributor. Mamamoo does have a fairly large fan base, especially in Korea, as they gained a lot of recognition through their live performances at festivals, on Queendom, and on the show Immortal Songs. The phrases “Mamamoo never disappoints” and “BeLisMamamoo” aka believe and listen to Mamamoo are known throughout the Korean public. But if you try to measure their success through recent music show wins or charts you don’t see this effect as much. There are several contributing factors to that discrepancy. 1. Moomoos try to support other groups too, particularly rookies and groups from small companies. A lot of MooMoos remember when Mamamoo were rookies and had only 3 people show up to support them at their debut stage. We don’t want others to have to experience that, and Mamamoo is really supportive of this outlook. 2. A lot of MooMoos are older. We’re not in middle or high school anymore and have full time jobs. That makes it hard to just repeat stream a song for days, which is now pretty much a requirement to have enough for a win on most music shows. 3. Mamamoo does what they want. They’re not releasing music to target a specific audience or follow trends. They just release what they want. Sometimes that does end up targeting a specific audience (fans of R&B, fans who like really wacky concepts, LGBT+ fans, fans who need to hear messages of self-empowerment) but they’re not releasing things or staging things with marketing in mind. They’re just doing whatever they (and sometimes their CEO) want to do (ie Sleep in the Car is a masterpiece that their CEO thought would be fun after watching Solar and Wheein joke around on MamamooTV). Where other girl groups like Twice, Gfriend, and Blackpink each cultivated an image and concept that reaches a specific target audience, Mamamoo doesn’t have an official concept. You can joke that their concept is doing whatever the heck they want, blast the consequences (once you learn more of the history of the group you’ll hear the long list of examples of that). Some of Mamamoo’s fanbase, myself included, love that about them. They’re just being themselves and releasing good music. What more could we want? But some fans are into Kpop for the dances, for the concepts, for the visuals, and while Mamamoo is great at all of those things, none of those things are their focus so those fans are less likely to find them in their initial dive into Kpop or choose them as their ult favorite group. I hope that helps give some context to the fanbase situation. I could list out their accomplishments for hours , but if you check out the various guide videos you’ll get a fuller picture. 😊

Thanks for checking out Dreamcatcher! They're a very unique group in K-Pop as they always incorporate rock and metal instrumentals in all of their title tracks. The intensity of the rock/metal instrumentals varies but it's always present. When they re-debuted as Dreamcatcher (I saw that SpiralWarrior gave you some background) they took a lot of inspiration from j-rock specifically, so you'll find a lot of similarities with Japanese rock which is where the anime feeling comes from. Don't let that fool you though, despite rock being their core sound, their discography is one of the most diverse I've ever come across. R&B, EDM, Trap, Jazz, Rock, Metal, Pop, Funk, Reggae, & much can be found spread throughout Dreamcatcher's discography and many of their b-sides are as good if not better than their title tracks. One of Dreamcatcher's nick names is Suitcatcher because they do a lot of performances in suits, so if you like women in Suits, you'll find a lot to love here, lol. Also, Red, Black, and tend to be the primary colors they use for outfits, so you'll see them in red outfits and suits for a lot of stages. If you want to check out some more of their work, I'd recommend starting at the beginning with their debut, Chase Me. This song was released on January 13th (a Friday), 2017 and is the beginning of their Nightmare series. If you want to check out something newer, you could check out their Apocalypse trilogy which is about the damage we've done to our Maison (Home) and is a call for help and action. This series touches on Climate Change and War. The songs in the Apocalypse Trilogy are Maison, Vision, & Bonvoyage. Also, they just announced their comeback for July, probably the 10th, with their follow up to their last release OOTD which was a satirical take on the current idol industry and music. This is going to be part 2 of their VersuS Duology and it looks like the song name might be Justice. We don't have confirmation yet, just their mystery codes that InSomnia have deciphered. Enjoy!
