Sadly public beaches are not easily accessible. Looking forward to your next episode. And please take care. We miss you from Thailand.
@RenOverSea4 күн бұрын
@incrediblyhappyatthemoment3497 Yes, in some places, even if a beach is technically public, access points might be privately owned & limiting the public entry. The next episode of my new season will be life this Sunday evening. Thanks & greetings to Thailand 🇹🇭 🥰

phil is not recommended place to visit. they charge 5 star to a 3 star accomodation. locals are opportunistic.
@RenOverSea12 күн бұрын
@tonymckay6556 Yes, some places are really overcharging for what they offer. But on the other hand I discovered many nice guest houses and homestays for a very reasonable price too. So, a bit of pre-research can go a long way.
@rickb722514 күн бұрын
Wow , an honest vlogger, i experienced the same beach access problems on Cebu and Panglao islands, most of it closed to the public and people trying to charge entry to beach, i certainly wouldn't return to Philippines. Its interesting that eventually i went to stay in a resort for two nights at weekend, the resort was empty just us and one other couple! because of this the food wasn't freah or good, They have strange ideas of how to run business.
@RenOverSea14 күн бұрын
@rickb7225 Thanks, and yes, unfortunately, this happens in certain places. To be fair, it's not only in the Philippines where the beaches are being taken hostage by private property owners, but this also occurs in many other countries.
@JunBermz13 күн бұрын
@@rickb7225 all beachfronts in the Philippines are public lands. You have to know where to access the beach and not trespass on private properties. The Philippine coastline is long. Just do some research before going there. The best for me is Palawan. You have unlimited and visually unobstructed sceneries of the beach and islands.
@rickb722513 күн бұрын
@JunBermz I understand, but when you're visiting a place for a week there isn't always time to do much research, especially when there are countries where beach access isn't blocked by fences and resorts, Greece for example where we're used to open beaches, the government don't allow development like in Philippines
@JunBermz13 күн бұрын
Twenty-five yards from the high tide water line are already private properties. The Philippines has thousands of islands that you can visit and enjoy on your own. Just because you visited one specific location does not mean it reflects the entire country. As a Filipino, I haven't visited Bohol because it doesn't appeal to me. My favorite place is Palawan, which I believe has the best islands, beaches, and marine wildlife in the world.
@RenOverSea13 күн бұрын
@rickb7225 Not only this, but even when doing the research on the Internet in advance, you might not discover the whole truth about the place until you see it by yourself.

@@JunBermz I didn't say I was treated poorly. I just noticed that indeed they do like the tourist income, but sadly without putting much back into the system to improve it.

I understand your frustration. These Filipinos you encountered are not trained to meet tourism standards. This is why foreign tourists are often discouraged from exploring off-the-beaten-path locations. Many travelers tend to complain about minor issues while expecting high standards of service. It’s a hit or miss. Better go to places that have proper facilities.

lol you are deceiving people with this video of yours. how come you get to have a depressing story? when in fact you even know caranglaan road. which is unlikely for someone not to know his way to public patar beach while traveling from town to town with less known shortcut roads even locals are not aware of. there are so many restaurants in bolinao and even get to eat in floating restaurant like sungayan grill with no reservations at all. and you weren't able to find it? that is absurd.
@RenOverSea14 күн бұрын
The depressing story of mine is that I have to leave the Philippines, and the message to Patar White Sand Beach is a suggestion to improve their facilities they like to provide to the tourists. As for the other parts and places of Bolinao, I can not comment as I haven't visited them yet.
