ugh, i'm so iffy with getting things from ali... are these joycons actually lasting and working well? i'm VERY picky about how the joysticks work and noticed the slightest things off which is why i stay with the PS4 and PS5 controllers. why i can't use xbox style controllers nor sticks or any other brand really... i'm about tempted to buy the v5's since i do have the equipment and those sites will help with the calibration which is awesome and THANK YOU for sharing those btw. i just want to make sure they are as accurate as the OG sticks and work the same way. had gotten a hall effect controller by nexigo i think it was, HATED the xbox style/diagonal joysticks... but forced my self to use them for a month, the joysticks just did NOT feel the same, the starting curve on them was WAY too short/slow and then half way in, the curve jumps up, then even more so past the half way point. it was a great controller for casual stuff, but i could NOT play competitive games and FPS because of it... not sure if you're someone who's THAT touchy like i am, seems hard to find anyone as bad as i am about them lol. thanks for the video's though, came from a reddit post which led to your video named "How To Calibrate Orange Hall Effect Analog For PS5/Dualsense Controllers!! Because in other videos they calibrate them with a needle or they manually calibrate then in a different website. The way you showed looks waaay easier and quicker. Thank you brother

I could never get this kind of low error rate on circularity with my v3 ginfulls, was always a pretty big overshoot even after calibration with dualshock tools. I also manually calibrated with the pinholes to get the overshoot mostly equal on all sides, I think I made things worse manually calibrating before doing the dualshock tools calibration and ended up undoing it. The v5s must be much better then? Do you try to get the magnet perfectly centred, or do any manual calibration at all with these v5s? I wonder if doing one manual click to the left/right would center that under/overshoot.
@Layhss2 ай бұрын
I have not done any manual calibration with the v5s, I was using v3s from march and I was getting pretty much the same results as here.
