My problem was a clogged pump filter, just had to rinse it and all was good, rinsed out the tank and hoses at the same time, water was black 😬 like new again now.

I don't endorse products..but there's heaps of trim restorers available at your local supercheap/repco/autobarn etc

Its completely normal for ba bf falcons to do this. Yeah a trim restorer works but give it a month or so. And it comws back through.

cheers for the video, mine has gone out and there is nothing in the Haynes manual about how to get to it. i was thinking i was going to have to dig down from the top to get the tank out to replace it! nice and simple by the look of it.

works like your phone, never really turns off..the screen goes to sleep then turns back on when the car is turned on. so its constantly charging. its a slight inconvenience yes.

An quick "fix" for the code error is to hold down the AM and MENU button, this will clear the error for about 5 mins, long enough to test out the screen and the radio/cd controls. You can properly fix the code error using Forscan.

I'm considering getting either the stem mount or the brake/clutch fluid reservoir mount. I dont like how low down it is on the stem mount. Its so low it feels like id be taking my eyes off the road. Whereas the brake/clutch mount is higher up so i wont have that problem. Only thing is its directly in the wind as jts not behind the wind screen. What are your thoughts?

I think that's the idea though, in a car it would make sense to have it in your field of view. On a motorbike, having the phone in your field of view is distracting. on the Motorbike while riding you need maximum attention on scanning the road, then when you come to a stop you may look at the phone bu tilting your head down that little bit.

I know what you mean, but I'll be using it for navigation when I go on long rides and it's no good if I'm dipping my head every few minutes to look down at my phone. On the brake/clutch mount it wouldn't exactly be in my field of view and I would be able to glance at with my head in it's normal riding position and not dipped down. Have you used it for navigation and if so has it been OK in that location?

@DarrenCureton I've used it for navigation no issues, just pick my moment to work out where I'm going and only look at it when necessary..otherwise no issues..but then again you can never be too careful on the motorbike. If you will be using navigation a lot, I recommend mounting it further up elsewhere

Hi, I hope you see this message, Did you have to rotate the projectors lenses inside the housing the ensure you had a horizontal beam? Or does the washer with that tiny key and locking nut ensure the beam is horizontal?

It`s a nice tutorial. We have a similar issue, but not with the pump. The bottle itself can`t hold water. It spills liquid on the ground straight after filling it. It can be a crack in the bottle`s body, or any washer or a hose wants to be replaced. Can you tell whether the bottle can be removed the same way, via left arch, please, or, it needs for a more serious disassembling? Thank you

there is no room from the top, so yes you would need to remove the plastic trims from underneath to remove the tank from below.

I did buy the dampener. just not shown in this video as its an additional accessory. but 100% worth getting the dampener.

use a heat gun, its a plastic cap..then try to pry it off after warming it up

When the gear engages while riding, it'll show. Go for a ride.

@@Cruciality check that the terminals in the plug are pushed deep enough otherwise you have faulty gear display.

I am having trouble putting the ICC back in. It is hard to align plug and socket of the audio connection at the back of the ICC. Any tricks in that? The video does not show that part.

hey mate, during the removal process, the big white female socket on the car can move left or right which prevents the ICC from going in flush - you will need to ensure its realigned properly after a couple of goes and it'll slot right in. - the video does not show that part as its is physically impossible to get a camera in there while re-installing. - good luck, you'll get there!
