January 15th, 1975, we were introduced to the Alpha and the Omega of Promising Tomorrow's while rocketing through space. It is now 50 years later, and we are still dreaming about tomorrow and the hope they bring for a better world for people everywhere, while still rocketing our way through space. Happy Anniversary Space Mountain!! Thank you for giving all of the opportunity to dream and be thrilled.

I did not make my first trip to WDW until 1987, but it would have been cool to hear this in the parks. They need to do this, have classic audio week in all of the areas.

I find it fascinating how abstract themes like 'purchasing power' and 'industry in motion' are musically implemented here in a way that they make sense to the listener.
Four of these tracks were on the music soundtrack during the Disneyland Peoplemover ride. If you search KZbin for one of the live filmed trips on that ride, you’ll hear the ride’s narration and background music.

I wonder how far in development this song was cut. I also wonder when it would have been sung during the show.

I prefer the version we have now but there are some things I wish stayed from this one. Mostly the portraits following you in the beginning and the non-CGI hitchhiking ghosts that board the buggies.

Insanely rare footage of the front gate actually being closed.
@Foxxy9995 ай бұрын
It actually looked that way for almost a decade - from the time the front gate was installed in the early 90s until Fastness came to the ride in 2002 or so. It gave a nice "hey don't come in here" vibe to the place.
@jupiter90994 ай бұрын
@@Foxxy999 Of course. I was just pointing out how the gate is always open due to the Fastpass/Lightning Lane addition. Older footage of the exterior isn't as common as today's footage.
