Yeah, could've, but also wouldn't have been able to carry the RPGs I used either. I travel multiple kilometres on foot usually. I'd rather carry more ammo and be more careful than respawn constantly like everyone else seems to do.. I like to pick my battles, instead of being the one reacting to fire I'm dictating when and where it happens. If you bring a radio, you're planning on being killed and needing to respawn. This little clip was the end of a long game where I ran from Coastal Base Chotain in the north.. all the way down here. There were some smaller fights along the way and some I avoided completely. I try not to respawn where possible, Arma's not CoD or Battlefield.. Every respawn at bases costs supplies, supplies that I'm usually stuck sourcing because nobody else does lol.. So when I go off solo like this I do whatever I can to avoid having to respawn and take supplies.. If i had a few people with me, sure radios are viable but on my own, I'd rather have more ammo and just make an effort to not die as often 😉 "He will win who knows when to fight and when not to fight." - Sun Tzu

based on my ping US-NY or US-MI official.. West coast servers are around 190-200ms for me but usually full when I play.

I don't care generally as one of the ones that actually brings supplies to bases, I like having the option to respawn with a loadout, it does fuck me off though when nobody else brings supplies, just constantly use them like entitled cunts lol

If your machine meets the suggested requirements, it's generally not a problem. If you're trying to run it on a potato, then yes, it will be extremely laggy.

I was walking slow, because I like walking slow, you dickheads are always assuming everything in these here comments. I play this once every 6 months for a couple weeks before uninstalling it again.. It's a long-term investment, I get that. I'll probably be 50 by the time it releases, I'm 38 atm.. It's not as dramatic as the younger guys saying they'll be 50 because i probably could be lol. Anyway, yeah It's pretty smooth to be fair, for what it is.. I was on 25-30fps in the starting area but soon as I'm in my ship and out of the city it stays around 60-70fps in space.. I have everything on Max settings when I should probably have it on medium/high because my PC is 4 years old now. I used to play this on a GTX 970 though with 20-25 FPS back in 2017 so shove that up your ass hahaha. Atm on highest settings when it defaults to medium I've got smooth gameplay while recording with a i5-9600k, RTX 2070 Super and 32gb Ram. So all in all i can't complain.. Neither should you because I don't see any other games transitioning without loading screens the way this one does. I'll do another one sometime soon with the settings done right and see if it makes a difference to my walking speed lol

Yeah I prefer it over the US rifle, the PSO-1 makes ranging so much easier than the US mil-dot. I mean I understand the mil-dot is easy once you know what range a target is at, but the PSO provides the initial ranging too so it's much more convenient I think :)

I have many of those days where others are referring to one of the bad ones, I have entire weeks sometimes! haha. Especially in recent years as we get older, they seem to extend from days to weeks lol.

I haven't played this game in a while, I played during the CBT and it progressively got worse. I did enjoy the Submarines for a bit despite remembering seeing on the forums how "world of warships would 'never' have submarines" lol. I also enjoyed the old RTS style CV's where I could micromanage multiple flights and coordinate a simultaneous torpedo and strafing run on DDs.. I feel the game has got out of control in recent years though. Thanks for the comment, if I ever reinstall it, I'll try the Zieten line (though everytime i reinstall there seems to be a whole new branch of ships I haven't seen; credit where it's due, they know how to keep their game active).

I have bad depth perception in third person, I mainly use it to reverse in the trucks since reforger doesn't have PIP mirrors, otherwise I would stay in 1st person consistently.

its essentially arma. Being notorious because how unoptimized it is 😅. look at arma 3. 100+ fps is a myth

i5-9600k, 32gb ram, RTX 2070 Super - nothing special but FPS is generally good, depending on the weather in-game.. clear skies or just clouds i get beyond 90fps with heavy rain it drops to 50-60.. The 30-40 fps is usually because people spam AI or there are lots of vehicle wrecks on a server. I think they've fixed a lot of the FPS issues though recently it's much smoother than it was 6months back.

yeah it's getting there, everyone seems to be hyped for the helicopters and they're ok.. but the Supply system is what I like, physical supply boxes and having to build up your bases like Squad.. Adds a bit of effort required to maintain a good base now.. once they remove the building limitations and allow us to build anywhere across the map it should be good fun.. baby steps though, as always with Arma lol..

Experimental version is a whole new installation, it's not an update to Reforger itself. This one is for testing unstable features.

Experimental is only PC
