Have you found anyone yet with a ccs car. I live close to there and was going to try it out. I have a Lucid and was going to try this station. I'm not interested in being on KZbin but my car might be.

Wrong, wrong, wrong you’re doing it wrong. For Tesla, just pull firmly down to release. For CCS, push and hold the button until you hear a click, then push wand in then out.

The cord should be flipped around so you can actually take advantage of the longer cable especially for cybertrucks

I don’t think it will be an issue, those cables are 10ft long and should extend down either side of any vehicle.

This has now happened to me that 2nd time as well, but unfortunately I am now out of warranty on my 2021 M3. So I hope I find an alternative fix without having to replace it against a street ring wheel that fails in 2 years again :S

I’m sorry to hear that you are now going through this. If it is of any comfort, since we got this last replacement we haven’t had the issue reappear. At the time the tech did say that they had made some changes to the wheel. How much is Tesla service charging for the replacement? Let us know how it turns out. Hello! Been wanting to take this trip for a long time, so I'm looking forward to seeing how you got on with the Tesla. Obviously you have the best onboard EV route planner, so that's going to help you! I've had my Ioniq 5 just 6 months but wasn't able to do any road tripping this summer. Soon, I hope! I still have more to watch, but wanted to pop in and say that the "tunnel" at 8:55 is actually the Great Bear Snow Shed. That part of the mountain is prone to avalanches so they built basically a cover for the road so any avalanche will just slide on over it.

It's definitely disappointing when a promising EV comes with certain features that aren't ideal, like the CVT in the Ariya. Rivian and Tesla have really set a high bar for electric vehicles, especially with their innovations and design. We need more competition to push the industry forward, and who knows what improvements might come with future releases! Do you own an EV?

It seems Rivian has changed its mind on this. The charge port will now be located on the rear driver's side of the car. This car is just an early prototype.

No love for Steve Stevens he was incredible and sounded great! I felt like Billy didn't really have it but it might have been the sound in there which I thought wasn't very good at all. I'll go again the next time he's here!

Hahaha, i love this comment! We have a separate video coming of Steve Stevens, because you are absolutely correct, he was amazing and didn't stop the entire show. I can't be too hard on Billy as he is 68 yrs old and said he was getting over covid. However, I thought the band sounded great, if I had say where the show fell flat was some of the song choices. The intro was amazing, but then followed it up with a deep cut that most didn't know, vs hitting the crowd with Flesh For Fantasy or Hot in the City to get folks amped.

Holy crap how did we BOTH have the same idea for the SAME Doc Oc....Going from black up against his hat, and pulling away while he puts it back on, I did the same thing with him. That's hilarious. Unless HE was the one that told you to do that, because then it's possible that was BECAUSE of me having him do it, so he wanted others to, but if YOU thought of that, that's wild that we had the same idea! Great video! I'm subbing to you guys! Btw, if you saw us, on friday we were in cosplays that were a joke so no one got it, but Saturday I was Cloud and my friend was Cid, both in the Final Fantasy 7 Advent Children movie outfits, I had the full sword and he had the spear (I think we were the only Advent Children ones there), and sunday we were Roman Torchwich (me) and Junior (him) from RWBY. Also, I think it's only fair from another videographer, to warn you, that summercon is absolutely against taking video in the autograph areas, because the guests usually charge for it, so they make it easy and just ban it. So if they see this, they might get upset. Just letting you know.

I saw this video was for Saturday of con, sa you showed the badge near the start of the video, and I did that with him that same day, just REALLY early on. Like within maybe 30-60ish minutes into the day. He was so excited about it when I asked him to do that, and was loving seeing the preview on the camera screen lol

Hello buddy. It is true that you can’t use Spotify on a rented Tesla from hertz? I booked one within two days and hearing that was a huge turn off.

@@blacksky2112 great question. Not sure if that’s true. My experience was the following: I could and did log into Spotify. I clicked the button and scanned the Spotify QR code and activated my Spotify account. Then logged out when I returned the car.

@@HeyWeirdos ok update here: dropped the car today after 1 day renting. Car wasn’t in a good condition (parking sensors, plus the drivers side camera weren’t working, so autopilot was disabled). Sadly couldn’t log in to Spotify because is part of connected services and they are not paying for them so Spotify is not working. My globe box was locked as yours. Overall experience 5/10

The challenge is filming with one hand & handling the cable with the other. A non-Tesla user will push up to attach CCS adapter, then pull down to release. Tesla user just pulls down as normal. I’ll refilm this as this is really a two hander.

Hi @victorvek5227 I went back to this location on the weekend and re-recored this process. Here is what I hope are better instructions for releasing the CCS Connector: 1. Press and hold the button 2. Quick question,let's say you're at a store with a charging station and you plug your vehicle in and go inside the store,will the app send you a notification on your phone letting you know your vehicle is fully charged?

Yes it will. It’ll give you a warning that it’s almost complete and if it does complete while you’re in the store, you have a couple minutes to get back to your car before it starts to charge you per minute.

The vast majority of Tesla Superchargers are placed as close as possible to highway exits, and close to food and bathrooms.

I’m curious to know where you live and if you are an EV driver? Miles away from highways hasn’t been my experience in my travels. Having chargers at a variety of locations such as malls, parks, parking lots & community centers as well as many other locations works very well.

Mainly because it is a V3 charger with V4 cabinets (As he stated in video). It will not perform any better (or worse) than any other V3 supercharger location.
