Haha I'm a poor fella but if had the money, would just construct a 1000 sqr ft single storey neo-Classical house incorporating some traditional local architecture features (if allowed la..). None of the contemporary mostly-glass, industrial or commercial showroom-like structures for me. House will be 95% soundproofed and roof, windows and doors fortified for even more security.
