It is a polyphemus moth. A "baby" polyphemus moth is a caterpillar.

It's like there is catnip on the ground 😅 That's exactly how all my cats have acted around catnip. They roll all in it and lick it. Thats the only difference is that your cat isn't licking the dirt like our cats did with the nip lol. Too cute
