ah, it's the same sort of glitch with steering hinges, where you'd line them up one axis and then a second and when it turned outward it vibrated and moved u foward

If anyone doesn't understand the second glitch, its not really a glitch at all, just an abused feature. Since the constant output is always keeps the thruster on, the game never needs it to build up its speed because in the games eye, it has always been on and was never turned off. This makes the thruster accelerate instantly, making your vehicle really fast (although it doesn't change its top speed, acceleration is a lot better).

I have come to realise that alot of you guys seem to want more tutorials so I'll try to do a few more of them : )

There is a thin line between glitch, and exploit. The second one happens to be an exploit in the games code, as that interaction is working as indeded. Just not very well, becuase its trailmakers.

A few suggestions for the video: -Assuming your plane wasn't top secret or summin', maybe a quick intro better describing it. Would like to know the strategy/design of it more. For example what exactly are the pistons doing in it? -Again if not top secret, could you maybe link to it on the workshop for viewers to check out? I enjoy your designs, and expertise in trailmakers. I mostly subbed because you had some excellent tutorials and creative use of game mechanics. I like this challenge video too, but I would just like to know more about your design/strategy going into it, and more about the challenge in general. Would be cool if you could do a video sometime too of some of your favourite designs/creations (with workshop links). Or maybe a stream video sometime with a q/a for building tips/mechanics/suggestions/etc. Anyways, I hope whatever has been impacting you (as hinted at towards the end) gets better soon mate. These are some cool trucks, I have tried that rear suspension before and failed this gives me more hope.

My suspension looks very similar to yours, great minds think alike.

It's more compact and less complex then most splitters tho sacrifices speed

that ''splitter engine'' is really hard to optimize when u have more mass right? ive made one myself but its really lightweight and 0 drag ofc, but with a bit more mass or even 1 or 2 green drag points i noticed the speed drops a lot. or is there a better way to do it?

+ if you want to get rid of some complexity id get rid of the 2 front wheels and replace them with mirrors
