Hi there, I've recently purchased one of these too here in NZ. How do you power it during trips? I'm currently looking for a power bank that would power it for a couple of days for weekend trips... Thanks

Hey man great video my Prado intermittently stalls, will start right back up but before it shuts off I hear a click under the glovebox. I’ve searched down there but didn’t see your relay. But I’m thinking my Prado is doing similar. Good time thanks

@@rsadventuresnz8400cool, thanks for letting me know, btw what budget do you recommend for RT tyres? I’m new to 4WD, I did some research and RT tyre is from $300 -$800 each.
@rsadventuresnz84007 ай бұрын
I did use Maxxis MT and cooper stt pros previously before trying these RTs. I mainly bought it as I was thinking I am driving 80% road. 20% offroading. I am quite happy with them as I dont do Hard 4wding". I currently use Radar Renegade RT+. Toyo open country RT or Kenda Klever RT would be my next go to. Cheers

How do you find the 120 compared to your old 90?
@rsadventuresnz84009 ай бұрын
Heya, reason I got the 120 was its more comfortable to driver and passengers. As for me I consider mostly on road driving to get to the track. More economical on fuel(1kd) but it is heavier with more electronics to consider if you're into river crossing. Having that said it is a good tourer.

So that's a 5-minute fix that only works until the next time it rains useless
@rsadventuresnz8400 Жыл бұрын
I'd say it's case to case basis, as this was only a short video, a bit indepth for this video. Moisture got in because I pressure washed the engine that seeps through the bulb holder seal that wasn't sitting properly. So a simple drying it out and setting the bulb holder seal properly is the way to go rather than buying a headlight that's easily fixable. But I fully agree if headlight is pretty much damaged its gone its gone.

Na they don't have diff lock but they have center locking so it locks in the transfer case

Heya this model doesn't. Only seen a few numbers with factory rear diff locks. There is a forum where you can swap factory difflocks but id go with aftermarket lockers at that point😬
@J27M8 ай бұрын
Ahh right. I guess factory centre diff lock is better than nothing i.e a 4wd that has open diffs but low range. But still probably more than enough for overlanding and mild off roady stuff.

They go alguds on 4h you don't need to put them in 4hl or 4ll for offroad terrain unless you need it all it does is engage the center lock
