I just had a reel break.(Not one of my Daiwas.) I wanted another Exceler LT in 2500 or 3000 but couldn't get one. Sold out everywhere. Like most stuff these days. (increased demand means increased profit right 😉) Found a great deal on a Prorex 2500, which as you say looks like the exact same design. Same 20+lbs of drag from this little monster reel. I have given it to my daughter Jessica to lure fish with when we go together. Perfect colour.

Was reminded of this channel because Kyler keeps logging into his Steam account and still uses the Fishing After 5 moniker.

My girlfriend and I watched this back in 2019 when I flew to meet her for the first time - me being English and having met online. We were looking for fun things to do, hadn’t been sure about the safari so looked it up on google to see reviews or videos. We ended up going and having the best time, making some of my favourite memories. Wouldn’t have done it without this video. So, thank you!

I fish there fairly often and I've seen someone pull up a bass and I've personally pulled up some bluegill

Most water snakes are harmless. But watch for Moccasins! They are more dangerous on land then in water. They can't really strike in water. But they can be dangerous if you are wadding past a fallen tree of log in the water so look close before you pass it.

Man, this reminds me how fun it can be to just climb a big pile of dirt at a construction site with some friends. I really need to turn off my phone and get out and explore more again!

I didn't know you could fish over there at Research Park. Thought those ponds were off limits to fishing in general. Might have to give that a try someday! Sorry to correct you, but that small fish you caught was a warmouth. Warmouth and rock bass do look similar, but slightly different coloration.
@MarkMeadows90 Жыл бұрын
I fish at Bradford Creek occasionally. Pretty little bluegills you caught. The one at 7:27 and 11:59 are standard green sunfish. Green sunfish hybridize with other sunfish species all the time.

I totally loved your video. You are so easy to listen to and your demonstration was awesome. Subscribed to your channel, looking forward to more videos. I have to learn about all the different rigs, so that I will be able to out fish my husband and sister. Ha HA Thank you so much. Keep up the great work.

You sure that isn't a 1/4 once weight? Looks big for a 1/8 but hard to tell on camera. Good video man, I usually don't go bigger then 1/4 once. This also works great on the Carolina rig, I do it when I need to cover allot of water/searching.

I was born and raised in Huntsville and now have 2 children and a third on the way. I've been introducing the oldest to fishing the past few years and taking her to my old haunts. Started watching your videos recently looking up stuff about Brahan Springs. I fished there with my Dad a lot when I was little and remember how nasty and trashy it used to be, not to mention sketchy when HPD was always there trying to keep drugs out of the park. It's awesome to go there now and play at the park with my 6 and 2 year old and fish a clean area with a lot of good people and families around us. Fished there more than I can count and never even SAW a largemouth until I started using a frog on the downstream side by the bridge waterfall and got a decent 2-2.5lb largemouth out. It was an amazing sight to my daughter seeing Dad pull the fish out after we've tried so hard lately to catch one to show her. Good luck on your journey man, wherever that may take you.
