im a sports bike rider ,i ride gsxr1000 with 167hp on a bike that weighs 169kg ,and i like that bike . i would have no problem riding that , she,s a beauty :) .

@@simms196 I had to get a new controller and the whole bike gutted and rewired. he charged me $800.00 and that included shipping. Shipping back east for me is around $250.00 if you go through Pirate Ship. He is worth the money because you know it will be done right.

I bought a 3000 watt kit from him and the controller didn't work. The phase wires had to be switched. The motor and controller didn't match the color coded wires. I sent back the battery and controller and they figured out the problem. My bike still works but it isn't my main bike. I definitely want to get away from sabvoton and go far driver as my next controller.

Why are you bothering with pedals and sprocket? Try to pedal that beast and keep up with the motor. I got rid of sprocket and chain with a 1000 watt hub. I left the pedals as foot rests and to use the bike lane. I only pedaled on hills but it isn't necessary. The beast in this video never needs to be pedaled and you would hate to anyway. Get rid of the pedals and get foot pegs. Cool build.

Without pedals it goes from an e-bike to an e-motorcyle. Less places an e-motorcyle can go legally.

Liked & subscribed. I like that you’re approaching this step-by-step; however, I would prefer identifying all the deficiencies, then remedying everything all at once. The battery, the motor, then you realize that the brakes & frame need reinforcing, then rims, besides color will need review & tires. I decided to do the analysis & collection, then implementation…this however, may be far from ideal. In summary, I’m enjoying the build & hope the wife can keep the color matched rims, they are classic features & beautiful to see.

I had the same alarm, the unlock button broke after two days and I had to tear it off and break it to disarm it. Felt like I was stealing my own bike.

My Tempo had an alarm and the only way to turn it off is by key. But then the key battery died. So basically I stole my car and the alarm was going the whole time, and I even drove home with it blaring. But when I got home, I just cut the alarm horn off and shut it up for good.

Awesome setup! I definitely recommend getting a new seat cause the stock one is so uncomfortable and getting new handlebars that are more like motorcycle handlebars.
