One thing that seems odd is how the new PLA spools are not even half full. Maybe its just because these are the once included and not really the stock ones.

I appreciate, you candid demeanor. I've been printing for just under two years and now, I'm looking at a second printer. I liked to tinker, so I bought a Ender, but I have less and less time to tinker, and prefer my printer to simply "work." Thanks for putting together this great video.

I bought the A1 mini a couple of weeks ago and am having a blast with it. My only gripe is that it essentially only does PLA and PETG filament. TPU and PVA, the other two filaments they recommend for this model are specialized filaments. I've had basically no luck with TPU (I've ordered their largest nozzle size to see if that improves matters). But I'm also using Overture TPU, which may be the problem. It doesn't seem to want to stick to the bed very well. I've used up almost a whole spool of Bambu matte PLA with good results. And I've just gotten done printing some hose adaptors for a laser cutter vent which I designed in Blender and exported (which was very easy and worked great). I used Bambu translucent PETG for those. Worked okay. Strong stuff, but kinda ugly. Anyway, I'm hooked. Am thinking of maybe getting the A1 or possibly the P1P (the A1 still has the filament limitation as the mini).

DO NOT GET BAMBU, THEY HAVE THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! Youre stuck with anything you buy, they also buy reviews. If you want to cancel, NO.. if you want to add something onto an order that was missed and they hVe a sale going on, NO!! If you want to return your open box, NO. They wont help you AT ALL. They just want the sale and as soon as its done they mKe sure to slam the door behind you and make you keep everything and are 0 help if issues come up. Worst purchase ever.

The first 3D printer I bought was an Ender 3 V3 SE. I like it a lot. My Bambu A1 mini takes a meaty greasy 💩 on it. And I paid about the same amount for both. Im going to buy another one in the not too distant future. And now it’s $50 cheaper. Amazing machines. Best printer in its price range by a wideeeeeee margin. Best bang for your buck in printers.

Been using a MK3S+ for over 2 years (as my first printer). And I just ordered the A1 mini, people need to stop saying it's a great beginner printer, it's also a great printer for experienced makers. That 170$ price , it's illegal to NOT order it

I had a very large tree fall in my backyard. I didn't have a chainsaw so I purchased the 18 inch version of the one in the video. I've been able to make a crappie problem very manageable. I had some of the larger batteries and they did the trick. The only complaint I have is the oil cap loosens up and the oil spills out.

I have owned and used the DeWalt track saw for years, and it has been great overall. One thing I do regret, though, is the tracks are not amenable to parallel guides based on their design. At least, there are none that will work with the Dewalt tracks that I am aware of. TSO does make an attachment that ensures the track is square to the edge of whatever you are cutting, which is nice, but as far as parallel guides that attach to the track distally and proximally, there is no way to do it. Something to keep in mind if anyone is considering getting a track saw and using a parallel guide system.
@sivucit
@sivucit 10 күн бұрын
i did some research and have same issues. i have 2 solution. Get 2 TSO square instead of 1 and you can attach parallel guide on those 2 TSO square or use Festool track that will fit on Dewalt.

It does not in fact only work with Bambu filament. It only detects which color it is with Bambu filament. The only problem anyone has with using non Bambu filament is it not fitting the spool. And you can 3D print an adapter.

You only need Bambu filament if you want the AMS to automatically read the type and color. You can use any filament. The only problem you might run into is the roll fitting. But you can print an adapter for the roll.

An interesting feature of the 54V (as the 60V is called in Europe) is that after I got this saw, I started using the 54V battery on my Dewalt Torque Wrench, which made it a lot more powerful. So you can plug a 54V battery in an 18V tool, but not the other way around.
