Great job 👍 I had the same issue with the battery terminals being too high for my swivel plate on the passengers side, so I’ll have to get some shims made up or something because it’s a shame to have one without the other.

Its been a while since you posted the video, but why do you have to loosen the 3 bolts on the top pulley? Once you have locked the crank and top pulley and loosend the tenioner cant you just remove and replace the belt? Its just a question.

@ A lot of transferable skills between the 2. Timing belts can be daunting, but it seems your doing your research before hand so hopefully should be easy when the time comes. Thanks for watching 👍

@@vwtransportersandmotorcycl3729 minor mixups along the way but yes they are an improvement . ive led marker lights and daytime lights to fit as time allows . its a flick to the left to release the bulb on a t6

Well if you buy the TRW anti roll bar you can counter hold with a 17 mm open spanner in the back and zip off the nut with an impact gun

Defo want to add puddles lights tho looks like around 160 per mirror on eBay for folding VW ones . Have some led puddle lights quite cheep . As long s there's room in the bottom of the mirror for. Hole

hi mate, i've got to do some work on the rear of my van, are you jacking the van up on the suspension arm under the spring? Just want to make sure and to be safe before I attempt it.

@@coopsT5 sometimes a combination of both as it lowered. Sometimes use scissor jack on the sill to raise slightly and get bottle jack under the rear arm. But if you need the arm to come down to work on suspension then your best off jacking under the mountain points of the bottom arm and getting axle stands under the sills with a block of wood. I always put my wheels under the van as added safety. Hope that helps a little……made sense in my head lol

Nice one Joey, lot of work but nice results. Just got my carpet to do the whole van, just got to get rid of the bulkhead lip and sound deadening they plastered everywhere, strangely looking forward to the carpeting, bit mad but there you go😂😂

Good luck getting the bracket for the bulkhead off, can be a pig of a job as its welded on!!! I really enjoyed carpeting my van too, I really like it when you can stand back and say ‘I did that’. Thanks for commenting pal👍

I'd strongly advise anyone adding adjustable coil overs to grease all threads and run adjuster bolts up and down once. This will stop them seizing up should you want to change heights in 6 months, tbh if I was anal enough I'd grease proof paper them and cable tie it on to preserve its longevity. Trust me once that aluminium is siezed you'll never move them. I'm ripping off stance kit in two week time as I can't raise them to make my ride softer

Thanks for this, it’s great how to, i had the same problem, I went to all the effort of getting them bolts out but it turned out to be just the actual ignition switch so I needn’t have bothered. Cheers

I changed from 20” to 18 the previous owner put on . I want to lift for more clearance. Do you have to take the shock off to adjust the spring with a c spanner

Hi, I’ve just upgraded last week to 19 inch lol. It’s a good question to be fair, when I put them on I adjusted them to where I thought they needed to be and they were spot on so not needed to do any more adjustment. It would probably be less of a faff to be honest as the adjuster is at the top and I can imagine it to be difficult if you didn’t. Thanks for commenting 👍

Dad taught me when changing the tire put the flat tire under the car next to the jack. If the jack fails it's gonna be a lot cheaper to replace that rim than replacing everything in the wheel hub.
