Although this is a very powerful talk, in the end it makes no sense. Professor Lang lost his faith due to the brutality he witnessed as a child. Then years later he reads in the Quran that God designed a world that will be full of brutality and he decides to not only accept it but to bow down to such a God. Why?

INTELLECT CHOICE SUFFERING What about prayer and faith? Do Muslims really believe that we can overcome all temptation to evil purely with our intellect? Christianity definitely does not believe this. We believe that without prayer and the work of the Holy Spirit inside of us we have no chance to resist the temptation of satan! And furthermore we can only access the Holy Spirit by faith in the crucifixion and Resurrection of Jesus!
