"We have paved paradise and put up a parking lot, divided the house of Jesus into a million pieces because we care more about being right than about being loving." This encapsulates the sad truth about the state of contemporary Christianity.

What a splendid organ with a full variety of stops. The young organist was very promising and accomplished. He did however play the Bach “Largo” a little too fast.

Robin Meyers' message reminds me a lot of Matthew Fox. I love both of them to bits. This is a type of religion / spirituality I can really believe in. I wish they were the great majority rather than men who are on the margins of organized religion. Pitt Street Uniting Church deserves unlimited amounts of blessing, good fortune and all the rest for promoting and supporting Progressive Christianity. Love you guys.

Terrific presentation. if churches were lead by people like this, I would be there every Sunday without question. Great man.

I've been a big fan of Matt since 1991. I can't believe he made it to Sydney and I didn't even know. Damn. I would love to have seen him. The Pitt Street Uniting Church is the way religion should be. Fantastic theology and fantastic work. I love what you're about.

Thank you everyone who was involved in putting this together, especially Karyn and Gareth - I really enjoyed it on Easter morning and again just now. Very intimate and meaningful, and thanks for the beautiful hymns - it felt almost like being together on Sunday :-)

Ruth, when I was you age and hospitalised for mental illness, I didn't have your courage to expose my vulnerability -so congratulations. And, from this talk alone, I can tell you are so much more than your mental illness. Thank you, Pitt Street, for having a person with a mental illness give a reflection, this will do so much to, not only educate, but remove the stigma of mental illness.

I applaud these worshippers - if you truly believe that god created our amazing earth then wouldn’t you want to protect nature? You would, and you would want to protect future generations. It’s a moral and spiritual act. Thank you guys for this beautiful act of courage and care.

If mutually exclusive interpretations of issues like marriage can be justified Biblically, then scripture is totally useless for determining truth or addressing moral and ethical issues.
