I must have watched your video on the reset 50 times the last two times I went out. The first time your video my Ghost worked. This weekend not! Mine is till under warranty so I will let someone else do it! Thanks for your videos!

Any fixes for 5 flashes and 5 beeps?

Make sure you're at software version 1.3. If you're getting 5 beeps and 5 long flashes its indicating high temperature. If you're getting 5 beeps and 5 short flashes then that indicates a lower unit issue. Make sure you don't have any fishing line behind your prop and check all power connections. If that doesn't lead to anything then you might have a lower unit failure.

I only got 4 trips on my boat and it's at the shop for a month with the foot not communicating with the motor. Not impressed with the ghost at the moment

1:56 - I don't get what you mean "maintain play 1/2" of play in there". Play where, up and down or side to side? Isn't the purpose of that kickstand to eliminate all the play? I find my T-H Marine kickstand frequently gets misaligned and then i have to loosen it so it can line up and latch with the base, why does this happen?

I tried every tip out there to resolve the arrow lag on my ghost and then broke down and ordered a True Arrow. The installation was simple and easy and the difference is like day and night. I can depend on the arrow indicator to be true every time and casting to targets on my Active target is pin point accurate. This thing works great and I recommend it.

The only way this can affect warranty is if water leaks through our top cap. We did extensive testing on this and have never had a single issue. We will stand behind it if the top cap has an issue.

That’s for the constructive feedback. We can barely keep them in stock because they’re selling so fast. Not sure what the difference is seeing the arrow move in the shop vs on the water 🤷🏻♂️. I’d be glad to send you a on the water video if it makes any difference

Not to be critical, but might I recommend LPS greaseless lube as a superior alternative to WD40. Great video, thanks.

I'm adding the Troll Tamer lock for mine. You mentions leaving a 1/2"-3/4" of play. Is that if you are not using the Troll Tamer. I guess I am confused because I thought the Troll Tamer locked it into a static position.

You still need some play so the rear latch will lock the Ghost in play. The 1/2” is measured when the tab of the troll tamer base is released

I have the 12v / 125ah Ionic lithium battery (which they recommend for cranking battery) and it’s great. I have a 250 Merc Pro XS, 2 stroke and it starts it faster than my old lead / acid battery. I use it for cranking the big motor, my electronics, power poles, etc… I’ve made several fishing trips without having to charge the cranking battery because the big motor keeps it charged up with no issues. I also have (3) 12v / 50ah batteries for my trolling motor and they run strong and use very little power. Totally satisfied with the Ionic batteries.
