I personally use Smallrig v-mount batteries. I'm not sure which are not expensive because I find that they're all expensive 😂 Wait for B&H discounts.

I think it's a leftover from a camera cage I got, VersaFrame Camera Cage by Smallrig. You might be able to replace that using a small cheeseplate

Does Switcher studio support ISO recording? If yes, how?
@kactussg2 ай бұрын
It has a Director Mode which triggers local recording on all the connected cameras and laptop sources. You can then transfer all the footages to the main switching iPad for high quality compilation or transfer to a computer. Useful for post-production.

Thanks a it for this video . Just wondering how long SeeMo charging last for?
@kactussg2 ай бұрын
Hi, the SeeMo runs on NP-F batteries, which come in various capacities (F550, F750 etc.). I have not tested battery life, but the F960 to F980 batteries should get you at least 4-5hrs.

Hey bro!!! Excellent video. I’d like to ask something about the time during the live streaming or recording. Last week I used for the first time the Accsoon Semmo 4K with my Sony a7iii and it was perfect for the first 40 minutes but then the Sony started to get hot. So, is there a configuration you use for that? Pls let me know.
@kactussg3 ай бұрын
It's a common thing for Sony if you're recording 4K on the camera too. Set Auto Pwr OFF Temp to High and it will stay on longer even if it gets hot. If you record in warm conditions, best to get some active cooling, like a fan. Flipping out the screen and opening battery door will help a little.

Hi there, How are you charging your iPhones? Just wondering if you have any suggestions on how to make it last several hours.
@kactussg4 ай бұрын
With the SeeMo 4K or SeeMo Pro, they will keep the phones charged. The original SeeMo won't, but you can place a magsafe charger with the phone in the clamp. Just be wary of overheating the phones.

I wonder how the battery performance is compares Seemo to the Pro. Is it durable for more than a few hours of a long live stream? Would it drain the phone battery in that case?
@kactussg5 ай бұрын
I’m pretty sure it can last at least 3hrs on a NPF970 battery, powering SeeMo and keeping the phone charged. Original SeeMo will drain the phone, the Pro won’t.

can u use accsoon seemo to live stream to zoom ?
@kactussg6 ай бұрын
Hi, the Seemo is built with the primary purpose of using an iPhone or iPad as an external monitor for cameras. You can't stream from camera directly to Zoom from it. Alternatively, get the Accsoon CineView HE, which supports UVC from the receiver unit.

In an aerlier video you used one Router, is it same an all setups? Did you have any issues at crowded places wit seemoo?
@kactussg6 ай бұрын
Hi, I usually use 1 WIFI 6 router only unless I'm covering a large area, or my cameras are pretty far from me. In those cases, I'll then set up a mesh node. SeeMo uses the phone's WIFI to transmit the video feed, so ultimately it boils down to how congested the WIFI channels are at the location.

Hi, one question 🙏🏼 How can I connect a Sony a6400 camera using acsson and any microphone?
@kactussg8 ай бұрын
Hi, if I recall correctly, you'll need a micro-HDMI to HDMI cable to connect from A6400 to SeeMo. Make sure your HDMI resolution is set to 1080p. If you're using Switcher Studio, your microphone should be connected to the switching device (iPad in my case), not the camera as SeeMo does not transmit audio for SS.

Hi, I’ve actually came up with an updated setup recently which I just uploaded: kzbin.info/www/bejne/mJizeYVsh7GVfsUsi=aitaIcr9dwzENfTw There is also a system diagram in the new video that shows all the connection. The main difference between V1 and V2 setups is that I’ve removed the mesh router for V2. Otherwise the rest are the same.

The weird thing is, Accsoon has been promoting the iPhone Power Cage on all their video promos, but it's not available on their website or anywhere else. Kinda of defeats the purpose if the cage is unavailable for mounting iPhone, could have just keep with the original SeeMo since it's easier to bring on smaller sets.
@kactussg10 ай бұрын
Indeed, I believe they are pushing people to use this with their iPad cages. That's why I prefer the original SeeMo as well.

@kactussg10 ай бұрын
I have not tried CameraFi Live. Seeing that the SeeMo is like a capture card for your phone, there shouldn't be any issues using it for that app to stream SRT.

Another awesome video and amazing setup! Can you explain how you use the teradek? it’s a bit confusing how you use both in the field. Also, how are you placing switcher studio as the backup stream when switcher has the graphics and video (if you’re shooting a sports game)? Thank you for all your help!
@kactussg11 ай бұрын
The Teradek is a streaming encoder (similar to LiveU, Prism) that takes in a HDMI signal and streams out to the platforms. What I've done is take the Program output from Switcher Studio into the encoder via HDMI, so that it can stream out over multiple cellular connections. The Switcher Studio is streaming as backup to the platform using a single cellular connection. Both Teradek and SS will be streaming the exact same video (along with graphics, titles, overlays), just relying on different connections.

Amazing video! Thanks so much! Question: I have the mesh router, if I get the M6 or M5, do I also need an additional T-Mobile line? If so, which data plan do you recommend for great livestreams?
@cepheus11 ай бұрын
Thanks! Yes you need a mobile line for the M5/6 modem to have an internet connection. I won't be able to advise on which line to get as I'm based in Singapore. You'll need to check the area where you are streaming at to see which telco has the best coverage (that's what recces are for). For example, I have 4G lines from all 3 major telcos here, as I'm constantly streaming at different locations. The one with the strongest upload speed will be the one I insert into my modem for the livestream.

Can you use this gear stream on two platforms at the same time?
@kactussg Жыл бұрын
Switcher Studio does support multi-destination streaming natively, but you'll need double the upload bandwidth. I recommend at least 20Mbps upload. Alternatively, you can use Restream to stream to multiple locations, so that it's less taxing on your bandwidth. Plus you get more control and stream health info along the way.

@@kactussg I got the original Seemo back in November of last year. I was super excited cause I honestly prefer using my phone as a monitor. The input lag was terrible, the UI of the actual app left me desiring something better it felt really gimmicky to me. I used the Seemo with my a7iv and a black magic pocket cinema it worked but I honestly felt like I would’ve been better off buying a Portkeys PT6. I ended up never using it again after the initial excitement wore down now I don’t even know where it is. Hopefully this time around it’s a lot better

Thank you for your very informative video ..... I have one question ..... In case of using the Accsoon SeeMo (Non PRO) version ..... (the plastic one) ...... how do you manage to power either your i-Phone or your i-PAD PRO ??? Again, THANK you for all the information and for your time.
@kactussg Жыл бұрын
For the first version of SeeMo, you can power the iPhone (12 and above) using the MagSafe charger and clamp it together. The iPhones run longer with SeeMo as well compared to using their built-in cameras, so they should be able to last for at least 2hrs without being powered. If you need to run with the iOS devices powered, get the SeeMo Pro.

From a brief look at the specs online, it seems like a pretty capable LTE router. I believe the intention for the SIM card slot is for situations when the WAN connection fails, but should still be able to function on its own. WIFI 6 is a plus!
