Good review. I look forward to checking this out. I agree that people should see movies in theaters. Unfortunately, some great movies end up straight to streaming.
@thereviewshow24002 күн бұрын
Thanks! Yeah, movies like Prey deserve to be in theatres. Streaming is just the new straight to dvd format and people are more comfortable at home because they don’t have to deal with other people ruining the experience or simply have a lazy mindset of “oh I’ll wait to streaming” because studios are making streaming released dates public after a week the movie is out. So many problems in the industry right now and we need to get out that!

@thereviewshow2400 In my case, the closest theater is an hour away so sometimes I'll check out more than one when I can get up there
@thereviewshow24002 күн бұрын
That is a factor too! I get everyone can’t see a movie every week or they live too far from a movie but there’s this social connection when you see a movie in theaters.

This is the reuploaded version of the original video! The fair use system is so unfair. I added a fair use filter over it. Don’t know how a big difference it will make. KZbin allowed the original until the ‘creator’ decided to say screw you and blocks it. For audio by the way, how many other commentary’s of this movie has audio? All of them but they can’t touch them because KZbin protects them unlike we smaller channels have to fight for ourselves. So I hope you guys watch the video over and over, as well share it out! If you came back when you already seen the original video you are a trooper! Little hint at the next commentary there too ; ). Enjoy!

I think the only way you can really do a movie like this is you make it like Pleasantville. That movie didn't have a very coherent explanation, but it had a lot of heart, super bold choices and over the top without being gratuitous. This sounds like it played it safe all the way.

I understand the appeal this movie has, and I am definitely in the minority, but for me it didn’t click. The witty, wacky humour I enjoyed in the original seemed to be replaced by gross-out gags and shock humour. I also found the story incredibly overstuffed, underdeveloped and boring. Michael Keaton was awesome, the cast was great, and I loved the effects and set designs. As a whole though, I was disappointed. Great review!

I still dont get the movie 😂🙄. Who were those parents looking fir their kids, why do they believe the AI and do everything it wants. Who created it, how does it operate, why couldn’t they escape it, whats with the Asian girl wanting an affair with the man, why did he assume calling the house will work when the AI manipulates technology, how did he get home so quick. What does the AI want with them, what happened to the family in the beginning, whats with the hand movements, what does it mean and how does that allow the AI to take host of the body.

Bro, the reason why the character was looking at the lead was she was jealous and wanted the billionaire. You dont remember her little monologue at the dinner table where she stated she always felt she had to compete with other women?....The movie actually does answer most of the questions at the end...Alot of people just didnt get it. Like alot of peope are saying the little blonde guy just watched...He didnt just watch he got "rapped" too....Thus the black eye...He just couldnt remember because he never drank the venom. As far as the unanswered questions in the beginning. That was done on purpose because the director wanted you to feel as disoriented as the lead in the movie while she was going on her journey.
@thereviewshow240021 күн бұрын
Yes I know that she was jealous but nothing actually came to it. It was fake tension between the characters and besides the dinner scene it’s never brought up again. Especially when they forget things. They forget about the day before when they are there. So it should be a reoccurring plot of her jealousy then something breaks out but nothing comes to it, making it feel pointless. The movie had an interesting premise but lacks in places.

Haha this was so arrogant and dumb. How can AI hack gas cars was the question, well because the majority of new gas powered cars are largely made up of electronics with SIM Cards connected to GPS for the Nav systems and they have Gyro Chips that can actually be hacked and effect the steering if the cars have automatic assist steering.

It ain't Tim Burton's, dumbass. It's the screenwriters. Movies are the screenwriters brain child, not the Director! Stop Crediting Directors with everything! They just direct!
@thereviewshow240023 күн бұрын
Do know how movies work lol? Directors get involved with the screenplay, how the sets look, how characters look and act. Yes, everyone has a part of the movie but he’s the one that makes the final say and has the most input. Being the director make it his movie because he is the one in control. Like the captain of a cruise lol. People want to thank the captain because the captain what holds everyone together and makes sure everything is done. Calling me the dumbass. Clearly you don’t know how credit works and of course the person who wrote the screenplay does deserve credit which he did in the credits crawl but can’t put in the title with Tim’s name because too long and Tim Burton is more a recognizing name for most people. *mic drop*

@thereviewshow240027 күн бұрын
I would rather watch Trap over this because Trap has a unique premise for the first hour and then just becomes stupid. Deadpool doesn’t have that much rewatch ability at least if you bring someone new along every time but for the ones haven’t seen it should go watch it. Especially over this.
