Beautiful. Couldn’t help but notice the bill board for the Tucker (late ‘40’s) and the T. Bird (‘56). The Edsel (‘58) plus a couple of’55 and ‘57 Chevys plus what looks like some late ‘40’s Ford bring back fond memories. Great job.

Wonderful captures. The scenery is fabulous and the engines and rolling stock are realistic looking. Overall, the whole layout is just plain magnificent. I enjoyed watching. 😊

This was wonderful. The skill and craftmanship to create this town. Like other folk I see a few hiccups but I do not care. I love the way you film and edit your videos. Also a big thank you for not talking over your video and having subtle music playing.

So much energy is invested in an authentic layout, and then trucks that never ran in the USA or cheap goods and Matchbox toy cars spoil the picture. There are so many great, matching model cars from American trucks and cars and with a bit of tinkering skill - which is obviously there - everything could be built perfectly

Saw a build like this in north central California that copied the original track and canyon from central California to the Oregon border. So amazing! Even the trains were hand made

Frequently, upon retiring for the night I will open a KZbin channel and enter the words 'Need for Life', turn off the audio and calmly fall asleep having been mesmerized by the realistic detail of this magnificent collaborative effort. Not enough adjectives in the English language that could do justice to this superb layout but I would love to know more about how it was accomplished as that would be a KZbin video all to it's self. What a talented group of model enthusiasts.👍💓

Thank you so much for your kind words! But unfortunately, it won't be possible to make this video. Information from the official website: "Our building is being sold and the Center is closing permanently. The displays will be sold off individually." www.finescalemodeling.org/

I love those boxcabs. I’m working on a (kind of) similar pair in On30, using the Bachmann On30 streetcar mechanism under a 3D printed body. I can only hope they’ll look half as cool as these ones.

One of the best I have seen. Enjoy it immensely, the detail , the period of time, and wilderness setting are perfect. I love the lumber Jack's, the animals and town setting even surprised me. Naughty ladies in a boom town, how authentic. Great job. A movie should be made with this exact set inlarged for the big screen and real actors. Let me see what Taylor Sheridan is up to.❤
