And here I am every Christmas for my kids, and now my grandkids spending two weeks setting up a full village and train that runs around the tree and under a table using a mix of the Christmas packages to make tunnels and scale village pieces and trees and street lights to mix the two just for my kids (adults now) and my grandkids kids to lay on the floor and smile for them to remember and have great memories, and I felt I did an amazing job.. Now I see this, and at 51 years old now know I need to go back to the drawing board because mine might as well be Legos and paper because it is.. 🤣..

Figure that this very hobby gave birth to Disneyland.. Back when it was truly Disney in every sense.. Dont know what its become now. The dedication and passion shows through in volumes with this masterpiece. It is absolutely therapeutic to watch.

If you actually really look and don't just say,. "Its a model" or a "Toy train" and open yourself to it. The whole setting is a snapshot in history.. There is so much going on and so much to see. It tells a story with no words.. Best I've seen to date.. Love this!!

My dad loved model trains. Watching this takes me back to my childhood and my early adulthood when my father and I would talk about wanting to build one major layout that we would both love. We were firefighters together, and even though he was chief, it was something him and I bonded with.. Model trains, RC cars, planes, helicopters, and boats.. He loved his big boy toys.. He never drank, yelled, or most importantly, he never left.. Im the youngest of 4 boys and I am 51 now.. We are all still here and my mother. Unfortunately, My father passed just over a year ago, and it was very sudden. Sudden as in sitting and talking with him at home and two hours later we found him and he was gone. He loved all of us so much and sacrificed himself for all of us.. He was a true man through and through.. But did he ever love his Big boy Toys. Every Christmas I would set up a train under my tree for my two daughters and my father would either help or just come over to enjoy it leading up to Christmas. My daughters are both adults with their own children now, but I still set up that train with tunnels in and out of the presents and the villages for them to remember and enjoy and for my grandchildren to enjoy just as I did.. I am very sorry. I know that was a ton of not needed information, but this video brought back so many great memories.. I was fortunate to have a big kid as my father... 😊

The amount of detail in this is insane! I make models, but this is on a whole other level! Kudo's to the artist who made this layout! I have watched this several times now and find something new every time! I also love the fact that they put john Wanye in here!

For instance the largest model railroad is sooo much bigger Northlandz in Flemington, New Jersey is home to the largest model railroad in North America: Size: 52,000 square feet Track: Eight miles of track Features: 135 locomotives, thousands of railroad cars, 4,000 buildings, 400 bridges, a 30-foot mountain, half-a-million lichen trees, and over 200 dolls

Hmmm. I think this must be at the smaller end of the scale. Spreading out a few trains shouldn't count towards the size of train set. The number of engines and train cars moving parts should be used to define "one of the Largest"

So fine, detailed the armored vehicles on the open cars or even cable down to the car. Attention to detail is obvious from the grass in the scenery.🎉

Multi level different grades, different scenery this is an outstanding layout. This is a standard of layout for goals to duplicate.

Wow, this is like stepping into another country. Great job many figures vehicles, and the time period is in my opinion the best.

What’s with the flashing lights in the layout building sort of in the center? Is it on purpose the flashing lights or is there a some sort of electrical issue?
@Need4Life3 күн бұрын
It's caused by a mismatch between the camera's frame rate and the frequency of the light source...
