Wow I am an Arab born in the beloved Aden. My mother best friend was a Jewess (migrated to Israel) who we later met again in London. I was young but still remember how they hugged outside M&S … My mum passed away and I am sure her friend too … they both would be over 100 now … I look around and see what is going on now in Gaza … and ask myself why …?? This great artist who is Yemeni and aJew makes me feel proud of who we are … as human beings … and the bonds we have …

This was absolutely the most expressive, beautiful works of art I have ever experienced in person. Breathtaking. I wish they still toured this show, but alas, they do not.

Admire what culture was used, the music, the choreography and of how war, alienation, commradeship, death, life as in dancer reaching for "higher realm" like prayer- this troupe is SO multi-talented- please come to Hamilton Ontario- we desperately need dance, culture, Montrealism- like a vaccine! still loving seeing Margalit in performance. What an honor it was to not only be taught by her but to be one of the instruments upon which she created her original "Cinderella" choreography....thank you for giving the power to the "ugly sisters." I can still wrinkle my nose just as she taught me to do AND dance at the same time. What a power house. Love you Margalit

I am thrilled to find this.........I was at UCLA Dance Dept with Margalit…….remember seeing "Aden" in awe....and all these years I have quoted her noting her grandmother wrote a book, a page for every day, but don't try to find it "I swallowed it"...….still a big WOW. Thank you Margalit for pure theatre!!!!

This is an imitation of 'Badke', the great Palestinian/Belgian choregraphy that toured the world. Not half as good though.
